  1. Wow. Thanks for sharing this with us! Good luck with the sale.
  2. God damn do I want this.
  3. Did they honestly write his name on the truss rod cover in Comic Sans!? What the hell where they thinking? Lovely looking bass though!
  4. Sold on eBay, for more than it was listed on here for... Beggars belief.
  5. You and me both mate!
  6. It's definitely swings and round abouts, my Markbass cab sold within hours and then no interest at all in my Markbass head, even at £150! To be honest I haven't seen anything I want to part money with for a long long time... just waiting for a reasonably priced OC2 to appear!
  7. The absolutely gorgeous Newcastle Upon Tyne mate.
  8. TRV102p sold so just the head to go. Price dropped to £150 which is low low low for a head of this quality!
  9. Markbass Black Line 250 head, I have owned a Markbass Tube 500, Markbass Tube 800, an original Little Mark Club Series in Lambo Yellow and a Little Mark 3 head and this guy more than stands strong amongst them, great tone, great power, definitely not a budget head. Head is in good condition, some scratches to the top of the unit but nothing major, everything working as it should. Shipping included in the price.
  10. Markbass TRV 102P 2x10 bass cabinet with Tweeter, 400 watts at 8 ohms, made in Italy. Shipping will be an additional £15.00 insured, or collection from Newcastle Upon Tyne. Never gigged, pet and smoke free home Can be bought with my Markbass Black Line 250 head for £400! bargainous! Thanks,
  11. Bought to see if a looper would be a fun thing to have on the pedal board... turns out not, I'll just stick to looping on my DAW and keep things simple on the board! £15.00 shipped for a barely used pedal that does it's job brilliantly! I have the original box so it will be shipped in that.
  12. Absolute bargain!
  13. 🙌 happy for you Dood! If another one bites the dust wasn't the first lick you tried on the bass I'll be disappointed!
  14. Reading all of these horror stories I'll take a moment to be thankful that I haven't had any bad experiences yet... And I've sent and received a lot of basses over the years. Sorry to hear your plight! Hope it's resolved quickly Dood.
  15. Wow, leave that tort on, it's gorgeous.
  16. 😂 Treat yourself mate! 😉
  17. Updated photography, with some requests sent by various users over PM. These include a close up shot of the first and second frets and the truss rod nut. As you can hopefully see the frets are in perfect condition and the truss rod nut still has good sharp edges for allen keys to bite. Thanks,
  18. These older Streamers really aren't heavy, I don't know the weight of this particular bass, but there is no massive difference between my Roadworn Jazz and the Warwick. Well I worked 3 jobs as a early 20 something to afford my first which was an '88 Stage 2 4 string, If we're talking Stage 2 Streamers then I have owned 5 4 strings, 4 from '88 1 from '89, and 4 5 strings, earliest being a 1990 and the oldest being a 2005, I don't like the 5 string version very much, especially not after playing the 4's they just don't have the focus or tightness or sound of the 4 strings, I don't really know why, the attack just isn't there for me, the 1990 had a wonderful old EMG circuit in it with super hot EMG jazz pickups that was the best of the fivers. I had a red stained and heavily laqcured Stage 2 from '88 that was really really nice, I didn't think i'd like the glossy neck but it was fun, but the difference between the natural Afzelia Streamers is very small, the main difference on this one is I don't have any sharp edges on the frets on this one, I had a couple where the frets had got sharp on the edges and they had to be rolled off, but this one is great, I got John to dress the frets on this bass so there was no issues. And I'm really going to miss this one and I honestly think it will be my last, I'm finally knuckling down and doing a lot of schooling on my bass this year, proper theory stuff, and my "school" bass is the Fender Jazz, John has worked miracles on the Jazz bass and got the action so low and the bass singing so well that I don't like swapping between the Jazz and the Warwick, the extra 4 frets of the Warwick confuse me sometimes as i'm getting used to running out of notes to play at the 20th fret Thanks,
