Sick tune, an unusual way to dampen the strings? Love it regardless, check out her videos girl can play!

This bass has now sold pending payment. Will hopefully be meeting Mike this afternoon for the sale. Cheers for the words Lee, the business will be fine, its a Furniture Design Studio i'm running with a business partner and fellow designer so for the time being were just getting sorted with studio space, workshops and developing the brand and products, just means my other hobby of bass has to take second place, my plan is to pick up a cheap 5 string asap just so i don't go completely cold turkey. But a bass of this quality needs to be played, i hope Mike seriously digs it. Cheers Guys.

Let me preface this sale with some words, this was THE bass that broke my affinity and romance with Warwick, it completely turned my bass world on it's head, I have never played anything as easy and as perfect as this, the sound is really to die for, my true story for selling I have just gone in to business for myself after a redundancy and just cannot justify this at the moment, it's a sad time it's my last piece of bass equipment left from a stable that was 4 basses, 2 heads, 4 cabinets big. *sigh* times are hard. Offers of £950 which gets the bass, protec hard/soft hybrid case, comfort strapp, straplocks, 2 sets of additional strings. Pictures below, I'll answer all questions, people are welcome to try the bass in Newcastle upon Tyne. Thanks. Bought recently from Bass direct, all paperwork included. No trades obviously. And a good home is an absolute must!
Tis indeed an Awesome book...but beware, it may trigger mass GAS.
Ah man i know, when i first got it i didn't want to turn the pages I'm really glad i'm not a fender man cause his collection is obscene, i'm sure in one photo he's propping a door open with a really old jazz bass..... Any hoo this is now sold pending payment.

Hey guys, Think its about time this fantastic book passed on to someone new, the book is a fantastic insight in to John Entwistle and his entire guitar and bass collection, 248 pages of hardback pure bass and guitar porn, covering the big guns like Fender, Gibson, Warwick and hundreds more, huge pictures loads of funny text and amazing history on each instrument. First guy to say £20 will have it, postage shouldn't be more than £3. Cheers, Ben.
I owned the same head... very very nice, clean and with plenty of headroom. Maybe better than the actual LM. Don't remember the weight but it wasn't heavy and the dimensions were perfect. The buyer will be pleased for sure.
Thanks mate, it is indeed an amazing head, i don't want it to go.

Hey guys! yeah the head is an original variant of the first Markbass little marks, i have seen this one in Yellow *Lambourghini* and a one in Red *Ferrari* they are seriously incredible, i'm going to be incredibly sad to see this go and know i'll have a hard time ever replacing it. The specs are below in two websites however Its incredibly hard to find much about these one webpage is in Japanese and one in Italian, i will write down the specs from the manual tonight and post them through though for all interested parties., and forgot to mention it comes with original manuals, carry bag and cables. It does indeed feature the VLE but not the VPF. TC Electronic NDY-1 Nova Dynamics Compressor
spacecowboy replied to spacecowboy's topic in Effects For Sale

Due to an impending move back home this has to go along with my Markbass Rig. This comes in the original box, all manuals, power adapter like new. TC Electronics NDY-1 Nova Dynamics Compressor High quality dual engine compression and noise gate made stompbox simple. Packed with never before seen functionalities Nova Dynamics sets new standards to floor-based dynamics control. Its dual engine design offers a variety of setup and control options that allow you to tailor Nova Dynamics to fit your rig. Use the two engines for different compression settings or switch between stomp compression for that classic "squash" and TC's advanced multiband compression for subtle, studio-style dynamics control. You can even split the two engines in Nova Dynamics and have a compressor in front of your amp and noise gate in your amp effects loop for true noise reduction of high gain signals. The Dry Blend feature lets you blend your dry signal in with the compressed signal for optimized attack with no eating into the dynamic. Awesome pedal, just not an awesome time. £100 delivered.

Best way to keep Warwick wenge/ovangkol conditioned?
spacecowboy replied to Kev's topic in Accessories and Misc
Don't really fancy taking steel wool to my bass, i think i will use the lemon oil but id like some recommendations as apparantly alot of lemon oils out there are far from pure and have all kinds of rubbish in them. What is the dunlop 65 stuff like?
Thats what i use, its about £5 at the guitar shops and i bought mine 3 years ago and its still half full! Worked wonders. -
I sold all my expensive kit and ended up with this!
spacecowboy replied to mrtcat's topic in Gear Gallery
That's a fantastic looking setup! Congrats! I did the same recently I sold all my old Warwick Streamer basses and my Hartke stack, bought myself my Dingwall as my main bass so reliable I would never need a back up and a little Markbass Cab setup that weighs next to nothing but sounds HUGE. I know your feeling! -
As I'm now strictly a one bass man "until I buy another Dingwall" I do not need my Warwick Guitar Stand, I have owned this since new, it's used but in great condition all Foam is intact and everything as it should be, holds 5 basses or 5 guitars as to your preference! Pics on request. Postage of about £5.00 should cover it. Cheers

Best way to keep Warwick wenge/ovangkol conditioned?
spacecowboy replied to Kev's topic in Accessories and Misc
I wouldn't use wax on the neck full stop, the openess of grain from the Wenge and ovankol will collect little bits of the wax that will discolour over time, definitely best to use some Lemon Oil i used a sponge to apply the lemon oil on all my Warwicks when i had them and they all looked brilliant even after just one application you'll see the difference. -
SOLD pending. Bought this from our forums very own lee650 last year it's a fantastic quality gig bag that safely houses two basses at one time in seperate padded sections! Bought this to house my two Warwick streamers that I no longer have and my Dingwall came with it's own case so this really is surplus at the moment. Fantastic condition, incredibly durable, £40 Posted. Pictures on Request.

Me'shell Ndegeocello at the Jazz Cafe, London
spacecowboy replied to Platypus's topic in General Discussion
Interesting, looks like she manages to make it over to London every couple of years then?
Yeah she does and she always plays bizarre nights in London, never a Friday or Saturday night! I don't think I have been able to see her yet! Might have to take a day off work and stay with my girlfriend in London this time though as I don't want to keep on missing her! She'll be so awesome live!
