I regularly use both 34" scale Fender and a 30" scale Danelectro, and don't have problems swapping between the two. Probably as they are such different instruments, so I can never forget which is which! I personally love the short scale Dano, its just ideal for the country/roots band I use it for. Not sure how it would be for the other stuff I play though, as it is quite 'thumpy'. Never tried a 32" scale, so would be interesting to see how that compromise would work.

+1 for Nad stuff. Still got my 3020 along with a C350 and they're belting amps for the money.

Thats because Leo Fender got it so right from the off - if it ain't broke don't fix it etc...........................

Not that long ago these heads were considered small and lightweight (c.20lbs), which I believe for the sound you get they still are. (I'm getting on a bit and don't mind carrying them around!) Had a LM2 and just could n't get on with it. Don't think I'll ever go back to a micro head.

Just got my first Roqsolid cover for my GK Neo 410 cab. Great product at a fair price I believe - would deffo use them again. Cardboard/gaffa job ok as a temporary thing, but really not the answer IMO.

Babz on ebay for Procells. Never had a problem with them, am guessing it was a faulty one off? I always change them when restringing my Rays, which can be between 3 and 12 months(!), and never had one go before that.

And still it goes on - Mike Love has now sacked Brian and Al Jardine from the Beach Boys!! Unbelievable - what an utter tw*t.

Brilliant. Apparently the Beach Boys are on this weeks 'Later with Jools' , BBC2 Tuesday and Friday. Don't know how they'll be now, but hopefully will have band made up of Brians current touring outfit, who are absolutely superb. Guess they'll be doing stuff from their recent album 'Thats why God made the radio'.
