2.
I've decided to sell my LOUD cab, and I'm hoping that some Bassworld veterans will remind me of the exact spec. It's got 4 Eminence speakers and a horn in it and is in lovely condition - the carpet is unmarked and there's just a little scratch on the metal grille. It's unported. Definitely 8ohm, and if my memory serves me correctly it's 1200W (help me out on this one...). These cabs were made in Ireland (I think) and are fantastic for the money. There was a problem late on where the guys making them stole quite a lot of money from people on the old BW. I bought this from a BW member, and I think I'm the third owner, all from BW. Pictures to follow to show off the great condition. I was thinking £150. Only been gigged a couple of times and always treated well.
Your description is pretty sound - I have a similiar cab, though mine is 4 ohms. Definitely Eminence 300 watt drivers/total 1200 watts plus a (not great) horn. Mine still sounds fantastic, and is reasonably light too! Good luck with your sale, cheers Pete.
3.
As the title says, immaculate 700w sounds like a beast but don't need it as I'm using the Ashdown to power the 4.5 XL cab. New preamp valve and reconditioned fan. £250 plus postage, which is about £20. Cheers Steve.
PM'd
4. Am selling my Aria Sinsinodo 4 string fretted bass. It is one of the older models, with 2 piece 'body' which attaches to the main part of the instrument. It has a bridge piezo pickup, with vol and tone controls. The sound is quite 'uprighty', and has a lot of balls! Ideal for travelling with, rehearsals etc or for anything needing an acoustic/double bass sort of sound without the hassle! The bass is in near mint condition, having been bought for one project and then rarely used since. Comes complete with carring case, instructions and spare new set of bronze strings. I paid around £280 for it 2 or 3 years ago, so am looking for £150 or a very near offer. Thanks for looking, Pete.
5. Hi. Got a Delta 600 watt twin channel head if you're interested? Made in UK by Carlsbro in the 90's I think. Blue front panel design, with graphic, XLR etc, in a 2U rack case. Excellent condition, and loud too! Give me a shout if your deal falls through etc. Cheers, Pete.
6.
Last price drop.......£350.......before it goes on eBay. Cheers, Pete.
If your sale falls through, consider me interested! Cheers. Pete.
7. Having had a Stingray and a Sterling, the differences I noted between the two are :- STERLING More variation of tone available (3 way switch etc) Slimmer jazz style neck Bit lighter weight STINGRAY (3 eq) Overall bit louder and more punch (slight) Wider precision style neck Better resale value maybe? Looks just that bit cooler!!! Both are fantastic basses, you wont go far wrong with either IMHO. Good luck! Pete.
8. Bass now sold - thanks for all your interest. Pete.
9. Yes it has white dot markers along the top of the neck.
10. £90 would get you this fine machine! Bargain or what?!!!! Prefer you to arrange collection though. Whaddya reckon?
11. Hey! Very interested in the Hohner, as long as its black (not red!). Can collect from you too. Let me know asap - cheers!
12. Bump before it goes back into the loft!
13. How much are you looking for? Is the bass heavy? Have an Aria MAB Pro 11 series active 4 string fretless on this site for sale at £100 - interested in a deal? I am near Hull too! Cheers Pete.
14. Hard to say without pics etc, but I've seen them go starting from around the £250 mark upwards. The older vinyl covered combos seem to be more in favour than the later fur covered ones too! Good luck.
15. Thanks! It is a great bass, just have n't got space for all my stuff anymore.
16. Having a clearout of stuff I dont use anymore, so here we have a black Aria MAB40 fretless in shiny black finish. Its has 2 pickups (precision and jazz types) and is active, with a volume control for each pickup, active / passive switch, tone control and pickup selector switch. Condition is excellent, with no bumps at all, just a few very light surface marks as you would expect on an early 90's bass. The neck is fine, and the fretboard is showing virtually no sign of wear at all - I have n't used it much since buying it new for a project many years ago -prefer fretted! It sounds and plays very well indeed - would make a great starter fretless or spare etc. Comes in a quality gig bag - collection preferred from East Yorkshire/possible help with delivery within say 60 miles for fuel costs/would post to mainland UK if absolutely necessary though. Looking for £100 - anyone interested? Cheers
17. 'Equalized direct interface' - that's a DI box to you and me! The difference with this one however is that it connects between your amplifier's speaker jack output and your speaker cabinet jack input. Handy for older amps that don't have an XLR output. Its a sturdy metal box with 3 connections on the top - 'from amplifier' input jack, 'to speaker' output jack and an XLR balanced output for sending signal to amixer/recording device etc. Also features a 'timbre' adjust trim pot on the side,(but I've never needed to use this!) I've had this for over 10 years, during which time its been used when I had an older Peavey amp with no DI output facility. Am now using an amp with one built in, hence no need for this now. It's in okay condition, good working order, and is passive - i.e. no need for batteries! Looking for £15 plus postage (probably a fiver mainland UK), or collection from East Yorkshire near Hull Thanks for looking. NOW SOLD-THANKS.
