1. What is the string spacing? Look pretty narrow, or is it a trick of the light?

Any idea what the string spacing is at the bridge?
3. Rulers can be tricky devils...
4. What is the sting spacing at the nut? Is it a 38mm?
5. Yeah still got it. Another guy is chasing but you are first.
6. Ah yes - I missed the crucial phrase 'But is the other bass one of the modern classics?' Sorry all... Groan.
7. So does that mean Fender actually construct their 'USA' series basses in china? Or am I missing something...
8. Ooh - a 4 band! Where in Oxon are you?
9. I have not used this for that purpose but it is basically a high qual analogue top digital convertor whihc is what you would be needing for that purpose and I would imagine latency not much of an issue. Might be worth searching the forums first to see if other people are using it for similar.. S
10. Is it a 2 or 3 band eq?
11. It's just a case of installing the correct driver, and in fact the manufactuers site seems to be saying it is version independent - http://uk.focusrite.com/firewire-audio-interfaces/saffire-pro-24/system-requirements
12. As new. have not really used it. has some additonal plug-ins and comes with the software disk, psu and a firewire cable. £125 + shipping at cost. Thanks! Stuart
13.
@StuartB, what did you mean by "not for me" and "scrooge like attitude"?
I meant that as a mediocre player with 4 kids I was struggling to justify spending £800 on myself for an admittedly great bass that I'd just used for plank spanking in the office rather than a tool for gigging where I need a 5 or the usual 6 string. If not for my conscience I would have bought it right away - I loved it and there was nothing not to like other than the voice in my head! Which probably sounds a bit strange, but there you are...
14. Whoops- that was rude. Sorry Nick - It's a fab bass and I really liked it! Lots of versatility, great build qual., warm traditional tones. But for entirely trivial reasons involving a scrooge like attitude... not for me.
15. We don't want to make it tooo easy?
16. Certainly not pictures...
17. Great pictures! So many pro photograpers are also bassists :-)
18. PS really nice Fender soft case- like a tailored black duvet!
