And here's me thinking you were a strictly 15 man. Have to say the 210 has quite a surprising low end. Far deeper than any other 210 cab I've ever tried. For me it covers the frequencies the 115 cab lacks very slightly with some of the midi. Dave

I'm really looking forward to getting mine and the more reviews of the TT the better. 😀

I did hear a Rammstein album once and was quite impressed. Dont laugh but it was a management training course i was on and the guy that was running it had asked his daughter to put some songs on his MP3. That's what she put on and the guy played it at the breaks for coffee or lunch which was all brought in for us. Think that might be the heaviest i've enjoyed. Dave -

I've gone the other direction. My 2nd band is a more blues based rock band covering Tony Joe White, JJ Cale, John Mayall, Peter Green, Eric Clapton, Commitments (not Mustang Sally tho 😀) with a few rock songs thrown in but its a style i had never really done before. Its not that laid back slow guitar solo style blues stuff which i have tried many years ago and didn't like it. What it did was highlight an interest in some of those bands and more away from heavy rock. I just cant get into that really heavy metal stuff like Metallica and heavier. I've tried listening and it just does nothing for me at all. Same with Dream Theater. Great individual musicians but put em all together and nowt for me i'm afraid. I am more of a prog fan than anything else and would like nothing better than doing Prog covers but can't get the staff these days. 😁 Dave -

Iron Maiden is probably my limit and only on rare occasions altho when i hear a song being played somewhere i enjoy it. On occasion i have listened to Metallica but would never buy anything by them. I was brought up mainly on Prog / Jazz rock / classic rock like Rush, Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Kiss kinda thing. Dave -

Is that not usually a bridge saddle or the nut gap not wide enough. I'm no expert but kinda curious. Dave -

Agree ....... my fav bass and the one i would like to use for every band is my CIJ Jazz Geddy Lee Signature bass. Got it in at sale price £625 about 15 yrs ago and its simply an amazing bass. Far better than the Fenders i had in 70's / 80's. Unfortunately a aJazz doesn't work in some bands. I've had the fancy dream basses over the years and altho they are nice to look at and in most cases great to play they aren't the basses that stand out the most for me. My next bass will probably be a Vintera P bass mainly because i've compared them with other Fender P basses and just found it the most comfortable to play..........for me. At circa £700 - £800 new not a boutique bass in anyone's mind. -

Had a WAL in early 80's Custom fretless lined Flamed sycamore. Absolutely gorgeous to play and look at. It had a dead note at the Eb on G string. WAL didn't want to know and were not helpful. I bought it new. Has put me off them ever since. Also a white Ric bass in 80's which was nice to play but i found it very limited in what i could use it for. Dave -
Saw her live at a Harley rally maybe 10-15 yrs ago and she was an amazing showgirl. Fantastic show and she can play a pretty good bass solo, not bad on drums and keys too. Dave

Few others from that album would be good @Bilbo Tempus Fugit might be a good one to cover. Dave

This is my first experience of any problems with anything but from what i'm being told by several people its a lot worse than many believe. Hopefully things will get back to normal sooner rather than later. Dave

I've tried Ashdown and not for me. Barefaced not tried but they were an option but having owned Mesa last couple of yrs I know the quality and have a better feel for the cabs. Again I'm not able to try barefaced and too much money to fork out for a company that I personally have never experienced. I guess I'm just a Mesa convert and fan. Dave

Definitely a lot more detail in this explanation @agedhorse and some i wasn't aware of like the shipping around the globe problem. Some guys on TB touched on it and that was something i had not even considered as i assumed most items went by plane. Also the reason for not shipping individual items was a surprise but i see your point with items going missing etc. Your explanation here covers more detail and it is appreciated. With regards my own order i have been assured that price will be what i've already paid with no increase to me and for me it will be worth the wait as i spent a long time looking at the various kit to get what i believed was right for me. I've tried other manufacturers but have never come across the tone i get from the Mesa gear, its that simple for me. I have a great Mpulse 600 that will see me thru until the TT800 arrives. I appreciate others on BC have cancelled their orders as waiting doesn't suit them. Yes i was angry on the day i found out but that has turned more to disappointment and frustration than anything else. On the positive it lets me get some use with the Mpulse and SW 210 & 115 cabs. So far its a great pairing. Dave

Seems like they have been involved in some things.

Few people have mentioned it could be down to Gibson but Andertons stock Gibson anyways. The guitar amps are an issue because of the power supply parts being hard to get from EU. @agedhorse explained a lot of this to me on TB and why they've gone the route they have. Kinda made sense but disappointing from a personal point of view. Still got my old Mesa Mpulse to use with new cabs and it sounds fantastic with them at last rehearsal in Berkeley 2 couple was back.
