  1. With Covid issue this might be relevant for Xmas.
  2. Not usually a Reggae fan but that was nice. Easy relaxing song. Dave
  3. They had quite a few drummers over the years. Dave
  4. Our drummer played with Glitter Band with twin drummers during 90's. He did say that his job was to play the bog standard drum stuff while the original drummer played the fancier fills and show off bits. If there was a drum solo it was mainly Pete Phipps that played them. I don't recall the drums sounding "bigger" when i used to see them on TOTP but i was very young. Dave
  5. Has anyone mentioned Floyd live. Is that one drummer and one musician (percussionist) Dave
  6. Neil Peart had 2-3 different kits live. Does he count as 2 drummers ?
  7. If one misses a beat the other covers it. Failing in unison is something they should aim for then no-one will even notice. Think i may have contradicted myself there. If they both have double bass drums they can play quadruplets on bass drums dead easy.
  8. Nah its to make sure all the drummer failings get covered over.
  9. Aye me too and staying in flats we never had any complaints from neighbours. Must have been good then
  10. That's very nice. Not seen one of them before. If it had been a UK sale i might have gone for that but i'd prefer to try it first. GLWTS Dave
  11. Watch it.......our drummer was one of those drummers in Glitter Band during 90's. Even had lessons from Mick Tucker (Sweet) when they were younger. Then there's Genesis with Phil Collins and Chester Thompson. Dave
  12. I did and moved to Scotland to get away from the noise.
  13. Just ordered that album @Bilbo. Thanks again
  14. Don't think I've ever been lucky enough to have had a great deal like the ones listed so far. Dave
  15. Don't stifle the bass, move house. I'm not in Edinburgh so its def not me. Dave
  16. Now that's a stadium bass rig if ever i saw one. Does the Fork Lift Truck come with it Dave
  17. Did actually notice you hadn't been commenting much but assumed you were busy doing building work on the house. That sounds pretty horrendous. No idea what the Gall bladder does and i shall now google it. Hopefully you are now doing well and making a full recovery minus a couple of spare parts. 👍 Keep us posted on the recovery and remember we are all one big "happy" family on BC looking out and caring for each other as families do. Dave
  18. That just put me in the mood for some of this. One of the few "punk" albums i bought. Well ahead of its time i always thought.
  19. Very nice indeed and what's your opinion on it so far @ClassicVibes ? Dave
  20. Brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed that. Old Rog is wearing well tho. He still has an issue with Dave even after all this time. Shame Dave
  21. My Specsavers appointment was cancelled due to Covid
  22. Ach you huvnae changed at all. Got a mate lives in Oban. His wife used to be head of schools in Argyle if i remember right. Drinks in Ollies behind the Hotel at pier (think it used to be Caledonian Hotel.
