Agree but its not as if its a dying market. There's always people dying to get into cemeteries and crematoriums. Sometimes there's even a queue and a schedule involved. It def was an odd call to get but i have all the usual landline protection where i don't get any nuisance calls except BT who i'm with. This was on my mobile and normally the first thing i ask is where they got my number. Then tell them to remove it from their systems.............Doesn't work tho

I've only ever shipped one bass and it was the buyer that asked if i would package it. He had experience of shipping basses and gave me instructions on how best to package it inside its own case. He asked if i could take pics of the packing as i did it and how i packaged the neck joint area as he suggested. I then bubble wrapped the full case leaving just the handle open for carrying. He arranged the courier and insurance. His communication was first class (a fellow BC'er if i remember right) I shipped it 24hr overnight service and he told me when it arrived. I really wasn't keen on shipping to start with but he talked me round mainly because he was so knowledgeable on how best to do it and he gave me his assurance in writing before i agreed that all risk would be down to him. I'm still not keen on shipping basses but i do ship amps and things that are a bit smaller and easier to pack. Dave

I did buy an EBS Reidmar 750 bass amp from our guitarist (he used to play bass in an Ozzy tribute) It's a back up for my Mesa tube amp. Fair impressed by it but its an extremely loud amp even at low settings its still very loud. Great range from its EQ. I use that amp with my Berg HT322 and its a sweet sound with the flats on my Sandberg VM4. Dave

I had one yesterday from a Funeral Directors (advertised on TV) asking if i had given any thought to my funeral arrangements. ME i'm not interested HIM are you aware how much a funeral costs ME yes well aware HIM how much do you think it costs ME It doesn't really matter as i have more than enough money to cover any funeral costs. As i said before i'm really not interested. HIM is there any particular reason you don't want to discuss this ME politely and quietly said f**k off and hung up the phone Some people just won't take no for an answer and i just got so angry that he wouldn't listen. I normally don't like swearing at people especially on the phone but some to***rs just deserve it and he was one of them. Not as weird as the OP's but sad that the only nuisance calls i'm getting are from Undertakers. Think someone is trying to tell me something. Dave

Was she on the Jools show last night. I only saw a quick clip of Lewis Capaldi that i thought was pretty good. Did see a tiny end clip of someone with a violin that looked interesting and different. Didn't hear enough of her performance to really judge tho. Dave

Its all about fun. That's probably the HEY ! at the start of Angel Face by Glitter Band. I did buy some LaBella Low Tension flats as well couple weeks ago which i'm very impressed with.
