  1. If your that happy with your TE amp then don't see the point in wasting money on the Mesa. I'm a Mesa owner and love them but unlike you i was never satisfied with previous amps and i've tried many many amps incl Trace over the years. Dave
  2. That's a lot of learning Dave. The T shirts price at gigs needs to be a balance i reckon. Any gigs i've been to with cover or tribute bands you'd be looking at £15 - £20 for a T shirt.
  3. That's not too bad. Was that a tour or one gig ?
  4. Smooth radio were playing all the Xmas songs on Wed while i was driving. That song was the first one i heard when putting car radio on. Normally i don't listen to the radio to be honest. Dave
  5. Looks like this has been a worthwhile thread for you Dave
  6. I found the Elixirs a little more tension but nothing i couldn't get used to very quickly. (40-100 gauge). Long lasting and i might end up going back to them on my Sandberg VM4 from the flats. Still not decided. Dave
  7. Think that was mentioned somewhere along the way as it rings a Xmas bell. Dave
  8. Just heard this as soundtrack to a Xmas movie on TV. Really liked it and surprised its not played more at Xmas
  9. I'll PM you my details Dave but i'll be taking a Medium and a Large please. Dave
  10. You have caused a severe financial strain on many families this Christmas. Many children will have no presents and could go hungry on Xmas day now. Families will be suffering from electricity and gas being cut off. And all for the sake of having a new Mesa item. I hope you're happy with yourself @krispn Dave
  11. where's that ? i'm easily led and very susceptible to missing sarcasm and humour of similar natures
  12. They only hate you in a lovable sort of way.
  13. My Warwick Thumb originally came with 35-95 Elites. Can't remember what they were like to be honest. Dave
  14. You can store it here so she never sees it. I'll test drive it every couple weeks for you to keep it charged Dave
  15. They'd still be arguing what to have on the shirt.
  16. Hi Dave I'll take 2 but could you possibly measure across the chest of the Med & Large. One for me, and my Missus loved them that much that she wants one too. Dave
  17. I bought my PH212 in their sale Nov last year for same price. Fantastic cab. Seriously considering getting a PH210 to give me the full 600W from the Mpulse altho its loud at 4ohms to be honest. The 210 would also give some sharper hi mid sounds. Sometimes i feel the 12's are a little bit woolly. I have a Berg HT322 with 1x12, 2x10's and horn so probably doesn't make sense buying a PH210. Dave
  18. Post a pic of one and price list. I might buy one cause no-one up hear will know who they are
  19. I wore my polo shirt to work in the office. It triggered us as a Manager group to come up with ideas for our local engineers to wear. Sadly it wore out after several years. BC leads the way once again. Quite like the idea of a T shirt if its possible. We could have a competition to design it. Dave
  20. Me to and its pretty darn good. Enjoyed that. Just watched them doing some live material (Shaft) and they sound just as good live as they do in studio. Dave
  21. You've got the right attitude towards it so you can't go wrong with it. Listening to the tone on the VID clip it sounded quite nice. Sharp clear tone with that little growl edge. For a 6 string i find that cuts thru a mix very nicely. With cheaper basses i've found the fret edges are usually a bit ragged and a quick file down soon sorts that. If required a good set up can work miracles on a bass. When does it arrive ? Dave
  22. Fast neck usually means string spacing is gonna be 16-16.5mm but for that money you'll get use to it. Its exactly how i did it. The narrow string spacing is great for learning those top end chords tho. You can't argue with that price. I've heard pretty good things about Harley Benton gear. Well done and let us know how you get on. At that rice i might even order myself one. Dave
  23. Had a read thru your feedback @Hellzero and that is quite a feedback thread you have going. Looks like you are an addictive buyer / seller. Good to see such a great response plus the best part ........ a reply from one of my bass heroes Neil Murray.
  24. The post wasn't meant as a debate. Its more a fact finding thread. Having seen so many gorgeous basses on BC that are based in other countries I was simply curious to know if its financially and practically a worthwhile option. BC for sale is a great place to buy in UK but i've never ventured any further than Thomann for items and had issues with the kit which had to be returned and cost me in transaction fees both ways. I've been looking for a Kramer DMZ4000 or 4001 and i have seen some abroad mostly in US and just curious as to whether i should look more closely at them and whether others on BC had experienced any problems Dave
