as far as I understand to have a perfect fit you need the body at the factory.

indeed , warranties are close to never transferred to next owner. No brand will cover an instrument bought on used market.

as a dealer the amount of "issues" I had were excessively small and were all sorted in seconds. Probably less than 3 or 4. and sold 100's of them around the world

this is only from experience selling to USA a lot (bass dealer) - I do not work or have any connection with us customs however seems to be about 10% on top, it's done on a state to state basis 7 to 13% roughly -
I think second time it went was for 5K but could be mistaken

gallery sold it twice each time for outrageous amounts (compared to normal stingray PEB) in about 7 seconds lol

dunno , generally I'd advise to assume 3/5 month and hope for the best in case goal is not met , please be patient , I know that all supply chains have been savaged , sometimes badly (not speaking about Adrian , generally brands I work with) just remember that every body is doing their best
