  1. Oh son. You're gonna regret this. Only ever found ... 3 CAR Fender. I saw it on Martin's site and wondered if it was yours. what are you buying?
  2. this was built for me 🙂
  3. Yes , that's cause there's a Local Distributor who keeps prices high. I've heard of shops / colleagues who I won't name buying from USA and bypassing them as their prices are ridiculously high in UK.
  4. That's because there's a DR distributor keeping price high in UK. Probably cheaper to buy Abroad.
  5. i. don't know for a fact, should just email adrian. he'll tell you.
  6. as far as I remember they're made in Italy to Adrian's request / Specs. To be confirmed though. Could be wronng.
  7. yes , i often get customers asking me if they should upgrade hardware the "you can , i will make more money but i don't think it's needed...." usually gets them confused. the standard one absolutely does the job to me.
  8. oh right , sorry to hear that. That's obviously a whole other debate. How can a seller send the wrong bass i'm not sure. Are you talking about a private entity or a shop?
  9. while it's not gracious he has no obligation to do so. As it's likely a private sale. Unless it was pre agreed before sale to have a return window. Then it's very wrong.
  10. not sure how many setup work or repair work they actually take on but i'd definitely recommend getting in touch with alpher
  11. Hi mate , sorry to say i'm sure somebody will say it either way. Fodera Wise This is not a "Deluxe" but a "bolt on" best of luck with sale, beauty..
  12. are you able to pack for international shipping? I'm in Belgium btw, not Uganda lol
  13. Hi Trevor , people seem to acknowledge you as the "Wal Geek" here, or did i get it wrong? i've personally not seen an active wal pro. What. are the controls?? are they same as "real wals" ? cheers have seen the other thread. Ignore
  14. early ones can be 5,5 kilo ... they go lighter in the 90's been around since. 78
  15. Dave is ultra top to deal with. Great basses indeed.
  16. anything coming from USA or Japan (used or new) will need certificate if it's a commercial transaction.
  17. here is an example of his pickups
  18. i know i 'm having one .... lol... so much trouble
  19. yes indeed , i can confirm that each body and neck are STILL made for each other from scratch. No "assembling" going on. Still 100% made at Mensinger Factory. For example you cannot really fit a gloss neck with a neck pocket that has been cut / fit for a satin body and vice versa....
