***SOLD***Aguilar GS 212 cabinet with roqsolid cover

For sale here my Aguilar GS 212 (8 ohms). In very, very good condition. I would say 9.5 out of 10. You have to look very closely to notice it's not a brand new one. Just the usual minor scratches on the plastic corners (almost unnoticeable), but the corners are not deformed at all. No need to say how great these cabinets are. Great power handling (600 watts), beautiful sounding and LOUD. If you're amp can deliver something like 300 watts into 8 ohms, you're sorted. Comes with a Roqsolid cover. I just managed to acquire what I was looking for to downsize my gear, so this baby has to go. Price is £325 collected from SW9, or £375 delivered in the UK (with insurance included). I can deliver it for petrol money within 60 miles. That'll be an extra 20 quid. Tech specs here: http://www.aguilaram...inets_gs212.htm Cheers Eddie
Nice Geddy Eddie. Ive just sent the link to my friend Nick, hes after one of these
Thanks for that! It is a beautiful bass indeed. I don't know if it shows properly in the pictures, but the maple has a really nice pattern. If somehow I get booked for a couple of gigs more in February this baby will be outta here.

Hi guys, Sad times for me. I got this bass through a trade here a few months ago, absolutely love it and now I have to let it go for no other reason than I'm broke. Sadly my diary is quite empty 'till March and since I'm more of a P-Bass guy I decided to keep my P's and sell this baby here. It's a 2001 Fender Jazz Bass Geddy Lee Model, superbly crafted in Japan, as you all know. It's in near mint condition. Only some superficial marks at the back that I think are impossible to avoid, unless you play naked. The neck is the best among all the basses I ever owned. Low action, easy to play, no dead spots. It does make the bass feel a lot more expensive than it really is. This is the first non-American Fender I ever owned and I'm impressed with how perfectly put together it is. If all Japanese Fenders are like this I'm never again expending any extra cash just to have a US made one. This is the real deal! All original, apart from the neck plate, which I upgraded to the "F" logo Fender one you can see in the pictures. Comes in a really nice hard case. I'm asking for a firm £500 (£475 without the case), collected from SW9. Or I can pack it real nice and send it anywhere in the UK at buyers expense. If anybody wants to come around for a test drive and a coffee, you are more than welcome. Here are some pics I took today. I have a few more, but the website wouldn't let me upload. I can email them to anyone interested: I think that's it for now. Cheers, Eddie

Hey guys! Here I have for sale my Tech 21 Oxford. It's exactly like new apart from the velcro you can see in the picture (original rubber feet included). I know that I will need it one day, because it sounds wicked on guitar and incredible on bass for heavy, tube tones. I bought it a few months a go and never used it, other than in one rehearsal when I melted my bandmates faces with a classic Sabbath tone using my P-Bass. Also, I find it perfect to nail that Geddy Lee sound with a Jazz Bass. I think rock bass players have yet to discover the true potential of this pedal. Unfortunately I need the cash now so this has to go. I'm asking for £90 posted in the UK or £85 collected from SW9. A bargain for a portable weapon of mass destruction.
Larry Graham's tone and feel kicks MM's a**e for me, way more guts to the sound. I like the MM Fender sig though, and the man himself comes across as pretty cool. I also like his playing with Herbie Hancock on the live vids on youtube.
I also like MM, but Larry Graham is the man! Check this video and the other ones from the same VHS: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipjTvRe7-Zg
You've talked yourself into a little review of intense use. Would be very interested in your views. What cab(s)?
Hehe, no problem. I'll keep you guys posted. The cabinet is likely to be my Aguilar GS212 (8ohms), but the discontinued Ashdown LB-212 is tempting me. A 14kg 2x12 that costs under £400 it's almost to good to be true, but the comments about the cab in this tread are very positive. I'll see if can give one a try once I have the amp sorted. I might even bring my Aggie and do a little A/B.

Hey guys! Have a listen to these audio clips from this German website: http://www.bonedo.de/artikel/einzelansicht/ashdown-mibass-550.html I'm sold! One of these babies is gonna be away for a month with me in March. I think one month of gigging everyday (sometimes twice a day) will be a good test for the little mofo. Let's see...

I own one of these babies and I love it. It's a boutique Jazz without the boutique price tag, apart from the tuners which you upgraded, so great! These are quality basses, that play amazingly well and sound like a million dollars. You can't buy a better Jazz Bass even if you were willing to spend £1000. Sorry to hear you need to sell it. Have a bump!

+1 for the Geddy Lee Jazz Bass.

Hey guys! Any of you London based bass tutors out there also teaches guitar? I've been asked if I knew of any of guitar tutors who would be willing to teach a ten year old boy in Hammersmith, at his family's place. Anybody? Any of your guitard friends? Give me a shout and I'll put you in touch with the boy's dad. Cheers Eddie

Sold my Aguilar GS210 to Rich. Great communication, quick payment, top guy! Highly recommended. Thanks Rich!

I had the Marshall MBC410, the 4x10 extension cabinet of the range. I was concerned about the QC issues when I bought it, but at that point in time it was the loudest cab I could afford. I opened mine up to check connections, etc and everything was in place. I used heavily for a year and sold it still as new. Good stuff if you don't mind the weight.
