1. Didn't know until now that the lefty section of the 'for sale' section had gone - that's terrible. Having recently bought one from a fellow BCer, I thought I'd better resist any additional temptation for a while. However, the GAS is sure to return, and the lefty section was essential viewing. There's no doubt that it was flawed in places, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. If BC is to keep improving, it needs to be more useful, not less so. BB
2. You could take the middly bits from your name and call the band RoSar. Not as good as Rockford Stone though... BB
3. Of those I've read so far, I'd say a Shadow and a Groove are my faves. But if I had to choose one of my own it would be: a thicket of bass players... BB
4. Just bought a lovely lefty CIJ Precision from Rasher - a lovely bit of kit from a fine fellow four-stringer. He was most accommodating throughout and a pleasure to do business with, making it well worth the trek from Brum to the north pole (well, the Manchester part of it anyway...) Thanks again, BB
5.
Sold! Cheers Boris!
A distinct pleasure mate. Stay groovy, BB

7. The Undercocks. Kick-ass West Mids classic punk covers band, featuring my humble self... http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Undercocks/343383779402?v=wall BB
8. If your Mac has an audio-in jack, there's now't to stop you plugging the bass in directly, so long as you have a mini-jack converter. Whichever way you connect though, you'll need some recording/playback software of some kind - GarageBand, or a gazillion others, depending on your budget. BB
9. Nice looking gear. I've looked at TC stuff before but can never work out the impedance of the cabs or the amp - even from the TC website, which seems to suggest that two or even three cabs will be required to pull the full 500 W. I currently use an Ampeg SVT 350h with a 4 ohm 4x10 which has great tone and power, but is too bleedin' evvy... Can you shed any light on this? Don't want to run more than one reasonably light 4x10 cab, but have two pretty loud guitarists to cut through... Cheers, BB
10. Hey Boscoe, nice gear. How well do the Suitcase and 6B cab work together? I think the impedence on a 6B cab is 6 ohms, which theoretically might make the amp stage on the Suitcase begin to slowly cook... Cheers, BB
11. Hi FB87, Thanks for the message. Can do compressor for £75 posted in UK. You'll have to be quick though - the whole caboodle is going on the 'Bay on Thursday... BB
12. Bump. Getting ready for the 'Bay...
13. Cheers Rob. Sorry for late reply - wild day. I'll PM you... BB
14.
Hi, the two cabs are different right? the one at the top seams bigger that the other one. Can you confirm exact model for each? Thanks, Andrea
Hi Andrea, No, the cabs are identical in size and shape - even though they don't look it in the pics. Both are 1153's, 300W @ 8 ohms -. I've just measured them and they are both 24" high, 18.5" wide and 13" deep. The only difference is the orientation of the badge on the lower one, which also has jack sockets rather than XLR. Attached is a detail of a pic from a recent gig. This demonstrates the size of the cabs a little better, though it's not a brilliant pic. I'll try to take another shot later. Cheers, BB
