I noticed this bass too! Shame about the pictures - I currently have '90 4 string Dolphin that's just wonderful - never tried a 5 string Dolphin - price is perhaps ambitious but if there's someone who's really after one... they don't come up too often!

Up for sale or trade, my '95 Fender Jazz (MIJ) 62 RI in Candy Apple Red with original tort guard. This is in 'near mint' condition with a couple of slight blemishes (< 2mm) on the body, difficult to notice. This is overall a very clean example that's completely original. This Jazz plays great, it's setup with a low action, no fret buzz or dead spots and each string resonates evenly (to my ears). Please feel free to message with questions etc. I have some feedback here on BC also. I'm happy to post this however would prefer collection - any trials would be welcome, I'm based in Cardiff. Bought a pair of Nordstrand NJ4 pickups from Alex. The transaction was very smooth. Alex sent the pickups off the following day and they were received well packaged. A nice guy to do business with. Recommended.

By looks of it, that Thumb is earlier than a '92 model. You can identify the year of production by the last two digits of the serial number.

Gabor is a top bloke to deal with. We traded Warwick bases (UK - Hungary). He maintained good communication throughout the process, provided tracking codes and ensured the bass I received was packed super-well. Bass was sent from Hungary on a Friday and was received in the UK on the following Wednesday. Thank-you.

Have owned this for 10 months. Great sounding bass, comes very close in sound and feel to precision basses that cost three times as much. Great condition all round except for a couple of small dings (1-2mm) on the side of the body (rear contour area). I'm based in Southsea, Portsmouth. Anyone who wants to come and check it out is welcome. Delivery can be arranged, I still have the original packaging. £200.

For sale or trade my Dolphin SN, unfortunately receives little use at the moment so would benefit from a better home... It's a 2002 model in near mint condition, 1 small ding (2mm) on the rear of the body. It has the newer just a nut 3 as the previous one snapped. Afzelia body, ovangkol neck, wenge fingerboard. Great figuring on the body. A lovely and versatile sounding bass. I'm asking £700 for a sale, hard case not included. I have a generic rectangular hard shell bass case that is completely knackered, the catches work but the tolex covering is ripped and the plywood has broken in some places, would require some significant restoration work. Would suit most basses. Collection from Southsea, UK.
