1. Thank you. High res photos added.
2. Got this from Bassdirect recently. Only selling as a 5 string came up that I would use more than a 4 string. 3. Wow! Gorgeous!
4. That looks sick!
5. I know it's been mentioned before but I'll mention it again. GK MB series. I use GK MB500 with a 212 cab. Never get to use the master volume knob past 9 o'clock. If you are around west midlands area by any chance, you can drop by mine and try. You are more than welcome to.
6. I've quit two bands so far. First one was a covers pub band. Songist is very much into his own comfort songs. Not willing to learn new current tracks. Took too long to get ready for gigs (8 months rehearsing). Guitarist is fine, actually I quite like playing with him. Good tone, good playing. But comes up with some weird and obscure songs to add to the setlist from time to time. Don't get me wrong, I like playing with him and those songs but it's not really a song many people would know. So I left with a friendly note on why. I heard they are still going (I'm neighbours with drummer) but with ever changing line up. They don't have permanent players aside from the drummer and the songist. Second I left was all originals, all members are about my age. We got on well together. Nice guys. We recorded some songs last year. But have no idea of how to level our volumes on stage when playing. Either the drums was so loud or the guitars with mid scooped EQ. Songist can barely be heard. I tried hinting a couple of times but not really taking it. So, I left in good terms. Currently playing in a function band. All experienced members. Only rehearsed for 3 times and we already have a full setlist ready. And some gigs lined up. Happy days.

8. Easy business! Thanks Lozz!
9.
Of all the strings I've used over the years, the sets that sounded the best for the longest time were DR's, either Lo-Riders or Hi-Beams.
I have to agree with this. Also comes at second place for is Sadowsky blues.
10. I'd say go for 2 112's. I use GK MB500 with Berg CN212. It does the job so well, can produce obscene amount of omphhh. Used it for hard rock band to acoustic gigs. It's done so well but sometimes for acoustic gigs I wished I have a 112 as 212 just too big for that kind of setup.
11. Got CN212. Love it! The tone and the sheer volume output is next to none. Been using it with various bands from heavy rock with two 412 Marshall amps and cabs to my 5 piece wedding band. it just delivers. I just want to get 112 for home or smaller gig venues.

13. Having put my order a couple of months ago, now I can not wait for it to be finished.
14. I have serious GAS for this. Unfortunately I don't have any money right now. Have a bump!
15. I know your pain. I started playing in bands in my early teen and didn't know a thing back then. Now I suffer from it. I also wear ear plugs now. I suppose it's not as bad as the others as one time when I went for a session and realised that my plugs are missing. Probably fell off at home. It was worse than it normally is, but calmed down the day after. It is still very annoying at night when I am trying to sleep and all I can hear is this hissing noise.
16. Currently down to two basses. The two basses that I would probably not sell ever. My Lakland stays at standard tuning. This is my standard go to bass. And my Warwick is for my originals band which is tuned top drop C. An Alpher 4 strings is coming very soon. So yes, 3 seems to be the magic number for me.
17. Toe anyone?
18. That is some history there!
19. Awesome. I am eagerly waiting for mine!
20. I was curious when you posted a reply on my Atelier selling thread. These are amazing basses. But unfortunately needs must! So sorry to see mine go and this one too. The new owners will love them for sure.
21. is this still available?
22. This is gone to bassdirect. Please lock the thread until further notice. Thank you.
23. Brilliant basses these are. I miss mine!
