1. I owe me a pair of pants.
2. I have the same jazzman but in blue. Fantastic basses! GLWTS
3. Looks okay. I wouldn't mind. But more interested on how it sounds!
4. I actually am. I only have 3 basses at the moment. Fender jazz, Warwick jazzman and a Lakland skyline. Planning to sell the Fender and Warwick by the end of the year and get myself a US Lakland and that would be the end of my GAS.... Hopefully.
5. Here's my matching headstock Lakland.
6. Very subjective indeed. I've always found Lakland 55-94's deluxe with bird's eye maple boards really good looking. Specially this one. Not sure though if you class them as mass produced basses.
7. Could not resist. I ordered one.
8.
I don't know what it is about BB's that makes them so appealing. I used to think they were butt ugly but now I can't get enough of looking at them especially vintage models. I think it must be the unassuming but unmistakable looks and the simplicity of them.
I've got to admit, I still think they are but the tone they are producing is one of the best I've heard.
9. Blue burst or amber Lakland 55-94 with birdseye maple fingerboard.
10. I like rosewood but maple is growing on me.
11. Having owned two TRB's before, I can vouch for the Yamaha TRBX. BTB's and the Taurus ... Never heard a bad thing about them!
12. Good! Photos please!
13.
Hi rubis what is it?
I believe it's an Aria? Not sure though. I remember seeing a similar one here for sale. Colour was blue and is a 4 string one.
14. Get rid of the Lakland! I'd take it from you! Only joking. Laklands are fantastic. I don't know about the other one. It looks as nice as the Lakland. I'm assuming it plays and sounds as nice.
15.
^^^ Those Bass Pod XT's are really brilliant once you get your head round them.
They are! I owned this for yeeeaaarrss. Never failed me at all and good tones I can get out of it wether I plug into a PA or amp.
16. Here's mine.

18. Just dropping a comment. Lovely chap to deal with! Such a gent! Thanks Tim! Will use it tomorrow.
19. Happy with my Lakland and Warwick. Not with my Fender MIM I find the pickups a bit "lacking". So planning to change it to something better soon.
20. Not a Lakland but I have a j-retro on my jazz bass. Dead easy installment. Mind you I have no knowledge at all when it comes to electronics but I've managed to do it myself within 30 minutes (not used to fiddling with the wires).
21. Good to see this thread. I've been wanting to order a Lakland 55-94 from them when I have the funds ready. Can't wait now.
22.
Low action and some sort of dampening device before the first fret.
http://www.gruvgear.com/fretwraps
