  1. https://line6.com/support/page/kb/effects-controllers/helix/helix-350-release-notes-r1003/ Takes at least 30 mins. Lots of new cabs - cabs also use far less DSP, and there's an OC-2 now!
  2. Bump. Feel free to make offers including trades. I quite fancy a drive pedal with a blend.
  3. Ibanez show 12 fret and 22/24 widths on their site, as well as thickness. It would be good if others did that too. BTW - AFAIK all Sandberg 5 strings are 45mm nut.
  4. Or this
  5. Don't Rotos have red white and blue ball ends?
  6. Unless these are significantly cheaper than the 500W versions - what is the point? They all have volume controls.
  7. NI shouldn’t need any forms, it’s part of UK! I had a cretin at a PO who didn’t know the difference between NI and ROI. That was exhausting to sort out.
  8. Green screen and add them after?
  9. Put an East retro preamp in it.
  10. I would like to go amp free but only me and the keyboard are amplified in my big band. Everything else is acoustic only. No PA system at all So I'm out of luck.
  11. Allianz insurance have just started this database https://missinginstruments.co.uk/ So if you've got a missing or stolen instrument, get it listed and cut down the chance of a resale.

  13. I used to have the Club 1x12 and it was very nice with a 5.
  14. if I was worried about fruit on pizza not being manly enough then I’d have to take the tomatoes off too. Good try though. For 50 years I haven’t liked pineapple in any form. Raw, cooked, juiced, dried, you name it.
  15. a little bit of something. I like it on even when the settings mean it’s not doing much compressing.
  16. I had a big 4K monitor lost on the way to me recently. Fortunately it was Amazon and they sent out a replacement quickly.
  17. Boss BC-1X It's a multiband but works out all the difficult stuff under the bonnet so you don't have to. It's quite remarkable. I no longer have a Cali76 / Darkglass / ThorpyFX / Empress because of it.
  18. This. Most guitarists can't even tell if they're in tune.
  19. Steve Harris. I had been playing guitar due to Brian May but then a mate had "Live After Death" and it blew my mind.
  20. I've never had that. I like the top end when they calm down a bit. They are a bit too bright for me out of the packet, but after a rehearsal or 2 the top end is tamed and then they seem to stay constant for a long time. I've tried so many others and always come home that I'm thinking of putting stickers on the back of the headstocks with a "BEHAVE! You'll only waste money" on it!
  21. For roundwounds I always come back to D'Addario Prosteels. Every few years I try some others and spend far too much money, and then come back to them. There's just something I like about how they feel and sound. For flats I like some different types. Dunlops are my favourite but I like Ti and EB as well. Didn't like the La Bella Low Tension Flats at all. They got very sticky every time I played.
  22. Selling a Dimarzio Relentless P bass pickup - Billy Sheehan's new signature model. It has been in my shortscale P but as I've put flats on it and want a more old fashioned sound I've stuck in an Aguilar 60s wind. The new price of these in Black is £140. I'm selling at £100 including postage within the UK. It's a great pickup with loads of output and the asymmetrical curved surface makes a great finger ramp too. Phil's review: £100 inc shipping. Paypal only. Thanks.
  23. Me! I’ve got a heavy brass one that sounds ace.
  24. I’m finding that I get more of the note fundamental as well. Less fret clank so fewer overtones with normal plucking. I like the sound of the Monel flats but they are such high tension they didn’t work for me. I also think I have a little bit of a nickel reaction to them. I’ve given both my Sandbergs another quarter turn on the truss rod and the action is now stupidly low but with no fret buzz anywhere.
  25. Lovely!
