Don’t forget the EB Group flatwounds too. Brilliant strings.

I was just going to say that.

I really like it. I like the toy like simplicity of it.

This. Its an amazing pickup.

I love Sonny T, but I do think of him as Prince’s bassist rather than CW’s! The OP song was co-written by Rob Harris of Jamiroquai. It’s a cracker.

that’s just autocorrect and me not noticing.

Can you post the name of the seller so they can be avoided? -
PSA - I currently have Covid and it has hit me hard. Until I have recovered I won't be offering to meet anyone or invite people into my home to try it. Unfortunately I quite like a significant minority of you people and wouldn't want you to be endangered. Hopefully normal service will resume in a week or 2.

it’s not an uncommon modification. The downtuning metal guys have been doing it for years to get thicker strings through the posts. -

I like TI flats too. They also have the advantage of lasting at least 5 years so I'm happy to spend the money on them. -

Very useful thank you. I think I'm going to order a Sandberg - I've had my quote in and although the 12 month waiting will be very painful I will get exactly what I want. And it will turn up at about my 50th birthday. -

I'm in the process of getting a quote for a Superlight Lionel. It's not on the configurator but I know they offer far more options. Superlight shortscale - might even get under 6lb!! -

Is there such a thing as a Mustang that doesn't have neck dive? Almost every review I've read / watched seems to mention it. I'm wondering if I should just keep saving up for a Lionel. -
Passive covered Precision pickups?
fretmeister replied to fretmeister's topic in Accessories and Misc
Thanks chaps. As it happens I searched my trunk of parts and found an Aguilar that has poles that are flat with the surface of the plastic. So I'm going to try that. Maybe with a bit of tape on it. -
Guitars Just Won't Stick to the Recording

So do I with my Big Band. But that doesn't affect the comedy of it. To be honest it really annoys me.... I play jazz because I don't like crowds but the sods turn up anyway.
