    She's a great player. Her solo stuff is pretty good too. Certainly fresher than the Satriani / Vai stuff that is sounding a bit tired now.

    They are very close. I like White Nylons. Good string, last a long time too. I had them on my Hyperbass for a while.

    Line6 Sonic Port and AmpliTube free if you have an iPhone. Wont need the auxiliary in then, will read straight from iTunes library including slowing tracks down.

    I can't imagine Ibanez being happy that a retailer is claiming that all of them failed quality control. And having owned many Ibanez instruments over 30 years I cannot imagine them releasing an entire batch that are faulty.

    1.5mm is easily noticeable. Loads of 45mm 5 string basses out there, but the Stingray 5 is 44.5, and just that 0.5mm is easily noticeable when stretching over for the B string.

    I really love the tone Kyle Eastwood gets on his Metropolitain album. I believe he uses a pair of the Suitcase combos.

    Another great idea. Personally I'd take the Line6 HX Stomp over the fishman for traditional bass use, but there are loads of great preamps these days. Some powered cabs can be quite heavy though.
