    My EBMM Stingray 5 is a smidge over 8.5lb (yes, the 5 string! Yes it has been modified) My precision is 7 3/4 lb And my Sandberg TT4 jazz is about 6.5 lb. I won't buy another bass over 8lb anymore.

    EBMM should discontinue the Sterling and just re-introduce the SLO neck option for the new Stingray Specials. Especially if they are not going to do a lightweight update to the Sterling.

    I use a 1x10 with a drummer, and another 20 brass and reeds players too. No no issues at all.

    She's a great player. Her solo stuff is pretty good too. Certainly fresher than the Satriani / Vai stuff that is sounding a bit tired now.

    Some jazz. Trumpet, bass, piano. No percussion. Pelt is a phenomenal trumpeter.

    They are very close. I like White Nylons. Good string, last a long time too. I had them on my Hyperbass for a while.

    Line6 Sonic Port and AmpliTube free if you have an iPhone. Wont need the auxiliary in then, will read straight from iTunes library including slowing tracks down.
