Can anyone with a 70s jazz or a Pj measure the positions of the bridge pickup from the 12th fret please? To the edge of the pickup shell. thank you.

Clean sound is nice. But alas the drive sounds like farty nonsense to me. I moved on my RH750 for that reason.

Back row pedal height issue... https://barefootbuttons.com/ Some guys are using these. You do lose the capacitive effect but that’s not really a gig issue. Or you can be clever and stick a tiny bit of copper tape to the inside and run it to the top of the barefoot button. Then the capacitive element works again.

Re the vol pedal. I don’t use a vol pedal at all but you might be able to do what you want in Snapshots rather than with patch changes. Snapshots have a keep or reject changes option. Alas no block preset saving. there are LOADS of people voting for that on Ideascale though so I think it will happen. Dont know about globals as I don’t use them. I have multiple versions of patches instead.

If you find you can't do a weird routing thing you want interally then you can always use a patch cable in the FX loops and use separate send and return blocks to put stuff anywhere. You can jump the paths at will then.

Bollocks. its got a volume control. An amp shouldn’t need active cooling when being used at conversational levels. I gig but I play far more at home than anywhere else. I should be able to enjoy my purchases.

The stupid money Prodigy 4:88 is the same. Drove me nuts. £2000 for an amp and fit it with the noisiest fan on earth. The DG M900 is better but I'll still be swapping the fan in it as soon as it is out of warranty. In the house I use a Tecamp Puma 300 - that doesn't have a fan at all.

I've been moaning at L6 on the FB group for ages about the update process. Now that you have 2.50 (or beyond) it is a lot easier as the new HX Edit software is far better. Still needs a 1 button Back Up and Update option though.

My Nordstrand order is on the way. The new J blade jazz pickups. The "Clean and Clear" version. One will be installed in the bridge position of my EBMM P-Ray 5 (It's a ray5 but with an Aguilar P pickup in it. Passive). I'm going to make it a PJ set up. But I don't know whether to put the J in the 60s or 70s position. I'm a big fan of Duff's AFD tone but I also like a bit of Geddy. I can't decide! I realise most PJ basses are 60s position for the J, and I like them a lot, but I'm still wondering about going for the other option. No I won't play jazz on it so I don't need the super nasal bridge pickup sound (I have a Marleaux for that), but I like some rasp to my drive tones as well. Any ideas how to make the choice? It will be staying passive and I'm going to use Stack knobs so each pickup has a vol and tone.

I had a Hyperbass for a few years. I forget the tuning but I did a passable version of Monkey Businesses Man, and Adhan by the time I sold it. was great fun.
