    Don't know - there's lots of people there. A guy called Peter is the over all boss, but then there are dept heads for the various instruments and the like. There's the HQ in town, but then they also run Saturday morning centres all across the county using schools as the venues. I play at one of them every Saturday.

    Is there a local Music and Performing Arts Trust? There's one near me in Northants and they are always on the lookout for stuff the kids can use.

    Selling 2 EMG pickups (and maybe 1 more if I can find the box I kept it in!) 1st up - EMG 40DC dual coil. Great condition. Fully working - £50 delivered in the UK 2nd: A rather more difficult to get hold off EMG MM5CS. This is a direct replacement for a 5 string Stingray. I had to get this directly from the US as at the time there wasn't a single one in stock in europe. £60 delivered in the UK. (Unless I can find some spares, pots are NOT included) Might be a discount if you want both of them.

    A couple of years ago someone sold a jar of Glasto mud on ebay. Made a couple of hundred. I feel very old.

    Yup. I got my EMGs from them. Even with customs it was cheaper.

    I'm just about to order. Going to order via Best Bass Gear in the US as they do free shipping. Going direct from Norstrand would cost another $50 in shipping! I've had other stuff from BBG so all should be good.

    I love interesting cover versions. I recently discovered "Spider Bait" version of Black Betty. Banjo and fuzz pedals!! It's amazing!

    Been a while, but I’m going to order the clean and clear set. Ill try it as PJ first and then might swap the Aguilar P for the neck J blade at some point.

    I don't think the back of the neck is the same as the real ray 5 though.

    Not really. Might even get a blank and shape it myself. Its all about the neck profile.

    As it says. Not fussed about headstock shape as long as the profile is right. I’ve got an idea for a bitsa.

    I forgot my folder for rehearsal this morning. I relied on memory. Went fine. Until we got to 2 new tunes I had never even listened to before. Was given a trad score. No chord names above bars, just fly stinky poo. Nothing so embarrassing as having to sit and write each note name on the music while 25 other people wait. I must practice more.

    I was going to say, put an EQ pedal in the fx loop and knock it back. But it doesn’t look like it has a loop. Stupid design.

    On facebook they'e confirmed the EQ is powerful and that there is a clean blend. Might be pretty handy then
