1.
I'm running a Boss tuner, Boss overdrive, a Sansamp BDDI, Sansamp VT Bass DI and a Morley ABY. I'm planning on adding a chorus, but no rush. They're all 9v and the PSU outputs at that voltage. No issues. I suppose if/when it carks out, I'll simply replace it like for like. Still can't see the point in spending any more.
Until you get a Digitech Whammy which needs 1300ma and won't even turn on with that power supply. Or an Empress delay pedal. Horses for courses as always. I've got the Gigrig set up because of some high current pedals. For ages I used a Voodoo Labs PP2 for the 9V low current pedals and then separate power supplies for the really thirsty ones, but it took up too much space on the board.
2. I'm hoping they've ripped off the Demeter power amp!
3.
Weighs in at 3.5kg ...
Wow! That is light.
4. Cool. I'd love a new little combo. And both of these 1x12 weigh about the same as my Berg neo cab alone. I'll have to find someone with both in stock to try them.
5. Obviously is the fan noise is too much then it will suck.
6. £699 wouldn't be as appalling as other Mesa pricing. The Streamliner 900 was that price and worth every penny.
7.
http://youtu.be/z1rwsUtLH7U
Lovely but getting Bobby Vega is cheating! He could make a wet fart sound awesome!
8. http://mesahollywood...way-bass-series Interesting stuff. EDIT: RRP is £739.00
9. It's not just zero return, you are losing a days leave too. The whole thing is costing you. A days leave is worth a normal day salary. Ignoring the expense of the travel
10. I think attenuators are for valve power stages only and not any other type. Definitely check with the manufacturer before use.
11. My passive TT4 (California ) is punchier than my active TM5 Both sound great, just different.
12. All done and sounding amazing. Very happy indeed!
13. I keep listening to Rob Allen fretless demos. I think I want one.
14. The tecamp site says the 1x12 combo is A/B but the 2x12 is Class D.
15. Basses that don't balance. Headstock heavy basses should never be allowed out of the factory. And that brings me to another point - any bass made after about 1985 when the maker decided to use old fashioned enormous tuners. There is just no need for it - heavy clunky pointless things that add weight when there was no need to. I don't care how much of a 'Reissue' a bass is, playability must come first. I was so very annoyed when Fender put heavy old tuners on the new Geddy Lee USA model. It's not a relic, or a reissue, it's a new model. It should have had Ultralites or something equally light weight and well made. And it could have knocked off almost half a pound.
16. I really fancy one of those. I'm really getting into good old passive single coils again with my Sandberg.
17. I think Nordstrand will do pretty much any casing you want to order. I'm talking to them at the mo about some odd spaced stuff.
18. Yup. I love singing. I work more on that than bass at the mo.

Amazon

I've had 1 fake B string from Amazon. But that was a marketplace seller. The rest have been fine. I have Amazon prime so if there is stock I get it the next day.
20.
Which one?
Lemmy. Duh!
