I do everything with my pair of One10s. I love them. Plenty loud enough for me.

I've had another 15 mins playing rather than having any lunch. It sounds huge. I've cut the mids a bit and then used the VMT for a bit of grit. Wonderful sound!

It was my gain knob. Doug is sending me a replacement.

Mine is here I've had a 5 minute blast. First impressions are very good. It's loud and clear. The drive section is excellent - I might even prefer it to my pedal versions. There is some fan noise but it is quieter than my PC (admittedly a gaming PC with fecking huge fans and water cooling etc). The only tiny negative is that one of the knobs is a tiny bit damaged - like it's been pushed onto the shaft a bit hard. I've sent Doug a message so hopefully I get get a new knob (oo-er).

I'm playing a lot of Stevie Wonder / Sinatra / Big Band at the moment and I'm using a pair of Barefaced One10 cabs. 1 for rehearsal and 2 for the show (sorry!) The One10 seems to have a more old fashioned tone than some of the neo designs that push the mids a bit too much for me. I sold a pair of Bergantino CN112 cabs to get the One10s and I'm very happy I did.

If you have the serial number of the amp that might help. Your insurers will want that too.

I either still own or have owned the B3K, VMTD, B7K, Supersymmetry, Duality. No faults / issues with any of them. So far very reliable.

That would be awesome. I have a rehearsal on Sat morning. If it arrives in time I'll use it. I have Sinatra, Eagles, Oasis, and some as yet unknown jazz to play. VMT or B3K setting? Mmmmmm

Andertons are still showing shop arrival for Friday. If they manage to ship then I should get mine on Monday / Tuesday.

All songs are improved with my bass sound. Ok. Most. Ok, some. Ah feck it. I like my tone. I alter attack and clank with my fingers. I never change pickup settings at a gig. Once it sounds good for the room I leave it. FX on top if needed.

It's nothing to be upset about. Music can be an academic subject for ones own personal pleasure and intellectual curiosity. Does not have to be for performance. I own a rugby ball and don't play the game anymore either.

I'm not convinced. Unless the use of the Preamp Out re-activates the Master Volume, I've asked the question on Facebook - I'll post the reply when I get it. I've ordered one anyway. I discovered I had some Andertons points to knock another £13 off!

I've been looking at the manual. I had assumed the Pre Out / Power Amp in could be used as an FX loop. But the manual says when the Power Amp in is used the Master volume is disabled. So really it can't be used as an FX loop, and that might cause issues with 4CM too, depending on what the outboard gear is.

I'm almost certain I would use the internal VMT sounds for most things and then hit it with a B3K for extra. I change tones mid song quite a lot, but this isn't a 2 or 3 channel amp. This is a 1 channel amp with a selectable drive voice. Genuine multi-channel amps are more complex and would cost more. And usually they need EQ per channel. I'm very much looking forward to this amp.
