1.
Sale of Goods Act covers you upto 6 years. I took a 3 year old Xbox 360 back for free repairs due to poor workmanship.
5 years in England. 6 years in Scotland. But after the first 6 months the burden of proof is on the buyer to show that the faults were there at the beginning, not on the vendor.
2. Selling my lovely Parker NItefly-M guitar. Last one on ebay went for about £840.00 (in the USA). Pickups have been changed for a set of EMG 81/85. Piezo's work perfectly and the almost-impossible-to-find-as-a-replacement trem arm is there. It also comes with the official padded gig bag. It started life as natural mahogany but the previous owner (a good luthier himself) had it professionally stained black. It is in VERY good condition and has that wonderful Parker neck. Volume and tone controls for the EMGs and a Volume for the Piezo. The second 3 way switch is to select electric pickups, blend or just the piezos. The Piezos actually sound better than the plugged in sound on my old Yamaha electro-acoustic I used to have. More photos to follow, but this is a start: I would much prefer collection as there is no hard case - only the official gig bag. Collection would be from near J16 on The M1, Northamptonshire. A pretty rare bit of kit can be yours for £775.00 ta
3. Home use only, never cranked, excellent condition. I am the first owner. I got it from Andertons last year. Last time I saw one of these on ebay it went for over £450.00!! So £425.00 ish to you lot. Collection from Northants. I would consider trades for (long shot I know) a Cyrus CD6SE2 cd player.
4. If tthiggins hasn't bought it, I'll have that if it can be delivered for a sensible fee.
5. Tech 21 VT pedal. It will go dirtier than a real ampeg and has a more powerful EQ than a real ampeg amp. That should be enough to get over the non-ampeg-ness of your cab.
6. Cor blimey guvnor!!! That's lovely!
7. Yup! Certainly is. I am such a lazy bumper!
8. Now I have some good Berg cabs I have real gas for lots of amp heads! I have 2 Genz heads. Now I want a Terror Bass, a LM3 and anything else that makes a noise! More the better!
9. I'm with Allianz-Cornhill. Good company and I use their policies for litigation insurance, and they do pay out when needed.
10. I wanted a Berg HD212 but I didn't like the weight. So I bought a pair of HD112 instead. Job done.
11. I get mine from the USA on ebay. I love them!
12. Difficult question. My low gain is probably different to yours! I think it does - but it doesn't do clean with gainy-sparkle. I suppose a good description is a bit like a plexi style marshall, getting a little bit lairy. The low end is quite impressive for a non-bass specific pedal. The tone control deffo does something other than just take treble off, and the little switch changes it quite a lot too.
13. The switch was a brilliant idea! It's a relay controlled true bypass. So a nice soft action no-click switch that controls the real physical switching inside. No pops, no clicks, nothing. They should all be built like that!
14. Lovely pedal, but I seem to have too many similar drives. It works very well on bass to add a bit of grit, and is awesome when used with (eg) a Boss LS2 to add some clean in. The little 3 way toggle switch changes the tone of it quite a lot. Super condition with velcro on the bottom. Little rubber feet are in the box, along with a battery still in cellophane. £110.00 + delivery. Can be collected from Northants. Special delivery is about £10 now!! So I'd go halves with any UK buyer on the post cost.
15. Great condition with velcro on the bottom. Has the little 'EVH' button on it to get his settings. Needs a pair of 9V batteries, so I will include the voltage doubling adapter that can be used with a Voodoo Labs PP2 supply (if you have one). The cable was £11.00 on it's own. £130.00 + shipping. Or collection from Northants. Special Delivery prices are stupid now and it's quite heavy, but I'll go halves on the postage fees. ta
16. I really like my MXR, it's even bumped a WMD Super Fatman off my board. The separate clean and FX volumes are just what I needed. The only other one I'm gassing for is a 3 Leaf Wonderlove
