  1. How do you get Reaper to do that? All I do is record with it!
  2. No mute switch? Controls on the back that might a tweak at a gig? That's not very clever. Thanks for the answer. I won't buy one!
  3. I gig a lot. But it’s with an educational trust band so there are rules in videos of those under 18. So I don’t have any footage I could share.
  4. I’ve just rebuilt my nano board. I had an old Ibanez Tonelock phaser on it. On guitar it’s great, but I was getting serious tone suck and loss of punch on bass. I didn’t mind so much in the house but as the new term arrives I need the heft for rehearsals to start in about 2 weeks. Assuming I don’t quit as I’m mightily annoyed with many things over the last year. I have those 2 weeks to decide. So I might end up building a multi-board set up with each board feeding into the next!
  5. yes… but only if someone has actually transcribed it all! How many bands do that?
  6. @Quatschmacher - Will the Neuro App work with iOS stuff that only has a USB C output if I use a USB C to headphone adapter?
  7. The Ti 324 fit my Lionel just fine so I’d be surprised if they didn’t fit on a Mustang. If the JMJ is string through body then use the 344? My Lionel now always has EB Group iii flats on it. Long scale as they don’t do anything else. They work fine. Lovely strings. A bit brighter than TI to start but they calm down beautifully.
  8. I’m tempted to try one of these. Built compressor and a little drive could be great. Anyone know if it does a good John Deacon slightly farty mids P bass tone?
  9. Selling a nearly new Thumpinator V2 HPF as I’m having a complete board rethink. All works as it should, little bit of dual lock on the bottom. and it’s a very fetching blue! £90 including UK delivery.
  10. Newsted used to wear one in Metallica, and when he did the T shirt sales in general went up massively and the individual sales of that shirt were always higher. He viewed it as a way of helping to sell Merch. But I still don’t think the frontman should ever do it.
  11. I’ve got 3 boards. Nano+ for 99% of live work, PT Jnr for the rest, and a PT2 for silly noise home use that is too heavy to carry. There are a couple of pedals that I have to swap between them though. One day I’ll buy some duplicates.
  12. I had a 3 Pro years ago and I don’t remember it being gutless at all. At the time I used a TecAmp M212 cab.
  13. I just use normal ones. I get 18 months at least with my EMG equipped basses. They should definitely last longer than a few weeks and months if it is unplugged!
  14. Most likely. They will have to pay their import and VAT on it.
  15. I've not seen those before. I'm not lifting them!
  16. It’s not Sunbeams. I used to use them a lot. The wrap wire stays tight rather than the spaces in the pic. I only know of Black Labels that are like that.
  17. I thought about the GZR for my Lionel - and then went with the Aguilar 4P-60 to get a proper old sound out of it. I also got a kiOgon loom because I couldn't be arsed to solder! I'm very happy with it. It sounds like a P should now!
  18. Looks like Warwick Black Labels to me. @BigRedX I know you are a fan - Black Labels?
  19. Not that one. But Natasha Bedingfield's "I'm a Bomb" So damn simple bit for some reason it took me ages to get the proper dance music feel to it.
  20. When you get bored.... stick some Ernie Ball Group iv Flats on that TT4 - match made in heaven!
  21. I like both - for the finger style I liked the Sandberg better, but the Yamaha for the slap. Can't got wrong with either then! I play more fingerstyle than slap so for that reason the TT4 edges it for me.
  22. Some of the single cabs were great, BF Super Twin for example, and some were a bit lacking like the Hartke HyDrive 410. I didn't get the chance to try adding another Hydrive to see what happened. Practically I like a modular set up so I can carry a lower weight when I don't need more cones. The Marshall VBC412 was great on it's own though. Epic as a pair. Interestingly as those are 4ohm cabs I would often use 2 amps at the same time. They were EQ'd differently when I ran a split signal set up with clean deep lows on one and all the drive and FX on the other. Even when EQ-ing them differently they still worked together better than the Markbass 2x10+1x15 set up. Someone with far better understanding of maths than me will have to explain that!
