The prices of overheads they have to pay have got really silly too.
I doubt they are making much, if any, increased profit. Energy bills for businesses aren't capped like for consumers.

Apparently a BT3 in the Six10 housing for aesthetic reasons.

Lucky man!
Still - if you now swap the tuners for Hipshot Ultralites and rip out that unnecessary pickup you'll get that down to not far off 7.5lb!
(Yes - I would do that!).
I might have to have a day trip out somewhere.
Andertons have the Energy and the Pure at their warehouse.
I wonder if they would get them into the shop for me to try.

He's got a load of rare Alembics. I'll never afford one but I can't wait to see them all photographed for the sale.
I'm thinking about these. I emailed MB to ask more about the differences and apparently the Energy model is closer in tone to the older cabs and I do like them. The Energy 2x10 is about 500g heavier. Nowt in it really.
I can't tell the difference in the cabs via youtube though. Must be very subtle.
I do really like my little Barefaced Stack of One10 and One10T but I'm gassing for a change back to the Black & Yellow.
Did you guys try the different 2x10 ones before settling on the Pure?
Seriously though - I've never tried a GR Bass amp. But the demos don't seem to have a warm sound like the MB stuff does so well.
I live my MB AG1000, but I'd like to try the Little Mark Tube or the Vintage head too.
I like equal bendiness / resistance feel under the right hand.
So for years I used to do something like 40-60-85-105 as I felt the E and to a smaller extent the A to feel a bit too bendy under the right hand.
I'm sure the tension of a set like that is very different across the board, but the feel was more balanced.
40-100 would be light! 45-100 would be a hybrid really.
Depends on the bass really. I usually have 40-100 on Jazz types, but at the moment I've got heavier flats on it.
Markbass Nano Mark 2 is 8.7 inches wide

I must try a Reidmar at some point.
If anyone is looking for a cracking amp, there is a Mark Bass AG1000 Andrew Gouche sig model in the classifieds. I have one of those and it's a great amp. Excellent EQ.
Unless there's an agreement that a buyout will be based on new prices, that buyout will be based on used valuations.
This is why whenever I've been in a joint-purchase situation I've insisted on us all buying a specific item of the kit. So 1 person bought the desk, 1 person bought the speakers etc etc so that one person could leave with the thing they 100% owned. Everyone stored their own bit. No arguments.
