2. Buyer also gets 5,000 Nectar points!
 3.
Following the success of Elvis and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, both Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix are keen to record with them.
Jim Morrison has previously flirted with larger ensembles, which saw his band expanded to a 32-piece chamber orchestra. Genesis chose to close side two of Lamb Lies Down on Broadway with a song celebrating that group.
 4.
Surprised if he gets a couple of million out of them, were they that big? a couple of number 1 albums and a dozen or so top 20 singles? Actually I just checked and about 8 of original studio albums went Gold but no higher. So they made some money but I think old Pete's still being a bit optimistic.
£7.8 million in the last four years, apparently!
 5.
You can't beat a Zoom B2 as bit of an all rounder imo.
Especially when paired with a nice redhead...
 6.
O h another I've just been reminded of...... Mumford and sons..... Bloody awful live!
They stay faithful to the recordings, then?

 8. 35% off the lovely OrangeTree VIs: https://www.orangetreesamples.com/
 9.
Mornat mentions Time+Space / Toontracks. They are also offering EZkeys Retro Electrics for £17.95 which is 84% off. The software is great for setting up chord sequences to play along with.
I've been resisting EZKeys for some time, but at that price....
 10. Ampeg BA-210 combo half price at Gear for Music: http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Ampeg-BA-210-Bass-Combo-Amp-V2/ZSW?utm_source=benchmark&utm_medium=email-marketing&utm_campaign=email-271115
 11. If browser got confused and posted an image from your history.... I'd be thankful it was a Roland sign, it could have been a lot worse!
 12.
Native Instruments - 50% off. http://www.native-in...urce=newsletter
Nice, that's how I got Kontakt last year. I'm now tempted by their VC-76 1176-clone compressor which is about the same price as Waves' on-offer CLA-76!
 13. Is there a left-handed version?
 14.
I appear to have be washed up on a island with a load of music equipment on it. Luckily i brought my wood saw, hammer and wood chisel. Time to start chopping all that old driftwood up and forming it into a raft Hehehe
In which case there can only be one choice of bass: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TENNESSEE-15-STRING-EXTENDED-RANGE-BASS-/291606350777
 15. Starting a thread for sharing Black Friday deals... First up is a free Trueverb plugin from Waves: http://www.waves.com/lpn/black-friday-2015/free-plugin
 16.
The same critic described another one as "Off the Wall" Pink Floyd were going to sue for copyright.
He also described one of Peter Gabriel's albums as "so-so".
 17. When Michael Jackson made his Dangerous album, we was hoping that it would not be compared with his previous work. So he was quite disappointed when one critic described it as "not bad".
 18.
Have I missed something here? $3k?
I know, I can't believe it's so cheap!
 19. Another vote for Rush here - at Inglestone on the Signals tour. Terrible sound, terrible sightlines. We came home and bunged a Rush video on, which was much better.
 20.
Bon Scott-era AC/DC, John Martyn, Queen and Stevie Ray Vaughan
John Martyn features more than once in the "worst gig" thread.... your imagination may be better than the real things
 21.
2 for me ; John Martyn at the Lowry about 8 years ago, maybe more. Came on late, pissed and couldn't play. The band tried to cover for him, and his Les Pqul was turned right down, but after 20 minutes we gave it best. We weren't alone - plenty were leaving and comparing notes, as seasoned Martyn fans observed, he was always mercurial, but if he was having a shocker, you were best just to write the night off and go home.
I saw him around 20 years ago - I don't recall if he was late, but he was definitely pissed and couldn't play! Unfortunately his guitar was NOT turned down on this occasion.
 22. A few mentions for Zappa's - I did see him on the first night of his two at Wembley Arena. When he announced that he'd do a completely different set on the second night, I was kicking myself that I hadn't booked up for that!
 23. +1 for the Sex Pistols. I could have seen them in Middlesbrough in '77, but thought, nah... Todd Rundgren's Utopia supporting Led Zeppelin at Knebworth, a year or so later. I'd recently got in to Todd, but didn't fancy standing in muddy field full of Led Zep fans... little did I know that the next opportunity to see Todd would be several years later, and a full decade for the one after that!
