I've owned a couple of these in the past and seen many, many more, but never seen one with this unusual type of bridge

Surine Esprit NTVII 6 string bass c/w Mono M80 Vertigo g/bag The serial number is #006ENTVII (meaning it is the 6th Esprit (body style), 7-piece Neck-Through construction (NTVII). Here's the link to this specific bass on (Scott) Surine Basses website: https://surinebasses.com/gallery/esprit-gallery/esprit-ntvii- HYPERLINK "https://surinebasses.com/gallery/esprit-gallery/esprit-ntvii- HYPERLINK "https://surinebasses.com/gallery/esprit-gallery/esprit-ntvii-6-string-golden-amboyna-burl-006entvii/" SPECIFICATIONS:- Body core: Mahogany Cap(s) front/back/headstock: Golden Amboyna Burl* (+blonde-dyed Sycamore veneers) Neck: Rock Maple / Walnut laminates. 35” Scale length F/board: 28-Fret, Ebony (MOP block inlays & side dots) Nut: 58mm with string-spacing-s 10.5 & 20mmm (nut/Bridge) Pickups: Bartolini Soapbars c/w Bartolini NTCT pre-amp Controls: 2x Volume (neck has pull/true-passive) Contrentric Bass / Treble, Mid-range. Gotoh Tuners, Brass Nut, SONOVA Bridge**, Schaller Security strap pins Case: Mono Gig-bag (also as-new). *$1000 upgrade; ** no longer available Originally purchased (UK customer, custom-build) directly from (Scott) Surine Basses workshop in Denver USA Certificate of authenticity and instrument specifications also included. update: reduced the price / lots of positive reaction/s (thanks) It's quite reminiscent of the original Yamaha TRB and JP-Signature 6's - the f/board is wide but the neck is very slim It was ordered in February 2016 and completed on September 7, 2016. Probably one of few Surine Basses in the UK which are highly regarded/popular among bass players in the USA Appreciate this is a somewhat niche instrument (6'er+specs) so anticipate (hopefully) offers and/or queries via PM. I do have lots more close-up photos

Really excellent 60th anniversary Fender Jazz Bass from 02/2006. Aesthetic condition shows a few small issues (see photos) with isolated marks, dings, plus some paint/finish cracking to either side of the neck pocket (inner horns) but fundamentally it’s a nice, playable Jazz bass ... and not so bad for c. 18 years old. Currently fitted with a matching black pickguard, the original (from fender) white p/g is included.Comes with a decent, generic gig-bag. 24/48h Courier c. £22

Stagg EUB - triangular rear thumbscrew?
eubassix replied to eubassix's topic in Repairs and Technical
Bought from the original owner (Ryton, ironically) - thought it might be related to fitting on an external stand (or maybe the base of a bow-quiver?); but it does look very original to the instrument (I think there were a few versions of the eub?... this is the 200 HDB model) -
Just found this in the bag and have no idea what it's for (?) :-

Delivery: Assured quality packaging and precautionary measures used..." ... which is what any responsible seller would provide for an instrument. and got the reply: - .... "... There were no posting options available to me for the package. To resolve this, I calculated the maximum cost of dropping it off myself anywhere in the UK...."
-
"...This listing was ended by the seller on Tue, 27 Aug at 12:38 PM because the item was sold..." ..... presumably not on ebay (£3100 with c. 6 hours remaining). Never got a reply re. actually seeing the bass so hope the buyer (if one exists) doesn't regret perhaps buying this directly/on-trust.

Up to 4-bids / £3k with 24 hours to run. Had a reply to my now third request to view locally tomorrow morning ...... " More pics added..."

The asking prices reflects the latest offer (open to realistic offers in excess) ...."
-
... possibly, but not sure he would have done this as he doesn't appear to be aware of what 'pots' are, stating there are no pots on the bass (?). Latest message(s) state that he's returning today (Sunday) but unable to 'do' anything across the Bank Holiday. As the listing ends 18.27 Tuesday I asked when it might be possible to view. 'Tuesday morning' (reply) but no location / time details that I'd requested. Have asked again.........................
-
I've asked re. location and being able to see but no response to that Q as yet. He did add a couple of photos (only 3 originally) and stated that he'd been offered £4k ... 'if I was still interested'. One worrying reply re. dates / type of pots etc. .... " No pots on bass everything else original can t view till I return...." which seems odd if he's played (the) bass over 3 decades.

seller just added photos of the F/R headstock and a clearer shot of the neck-plate & serial.
