  1. Thanks / PM'd
  2. Sunnier today ... hopefully these might be better (?) :-
  3. English winter weather/light I'm afraid. I'll try to get some better/clearer ones, but these do show the overall look/quality of the bass + there's a couple of very similar instruments on the ebay links.
  4. ESP AMAZE Jazz 5. c/w original ESP case. Outstanding condition. 2010 instrument (from the series first introduced 2003) but could pass for new (even has the ESP fret protect strip). Case (fitted) is also 'brand'-new: 35" scale; Seymour Duncan Custom sj5 pickups; Cinnamon ESP pre-amp w 3 band EQ; Ash body c/w exceptional Quilt Maple top; Gotoh Chrome Hardware. This range is generally only available i Japan (check for japanretroshop on ebay who have both new - c. £4000+ - and used £2k+ instruments for sale, plus shipping, duty etc.).
  5. I think the 'W' is for a 'Wide(r); bridge? Not sure if that option existed when this bass was made (?). Current setting is 17.5mm but, as the bridge saddles are adjustable, could be slightly wider (or narrower). I'll try to add a Bridge close-up to the photos. Nut is 47.5mm (string spacing 10mm) and the neck @ F24 is 70.5mm.
  6. Modulus (USA) Quantum 'SS' 5-string bass. The 'SS' refers to Modulus concept of producing a new (at the time) Single pickup instrument, with that p/up being positioned in the optimum ' sweet-spot' for tone. Qute a rare instrument / great qaulity, playability and sound. Quilt over Alder with translucent dark-rose finish. Simple volume + Bass/Treble (+/-) Bartolini EQ (9v) & bartolini SB pickup. 9.3lbs, 35"scale, 1&7/8" nut ETS adjustable Bridge. Comes c/w excellent/quality gig-bag OR hardcase (option), Courier etc. Further info: Modulus Sonic Hammer - is an upgrade to M-92 Sweet Spot, that was introduced in 1992. M-92 SS (4/5/6-string) had a pickguard over alder body and an EMG. Sonic Hammer is equipped with bartolini and custom top. SH is the predecessor of the Flea / Funk Unlimited. Rare instrument ! http://www.modulusgraphite.com/quantum/
  7. Base - plate? ... is 96 x 54mm (that's 3.78 x 2.12 inches).

  13. Thanks Dood - it's a 2010 instrument (from the series first introduced 2003 - thanks to Dapper Bandit for this and other info!) but could pass for new (even has the ESP fret protect strip (I assume) which is shown in the first photo above. Case is also 'brand'-new. Here are some additional photos and basic specs (can add to these later when I've had time to measure etc.): 35" scale; Seymour Duncan Custom sj5 pickups; Cinnamon ESP pre-amp w 3 band EQ; Ash body c/w exceptional Quilt Maple top; Gotoh Chrome Hardware :-

  16. Is it Fender?... looking at the design, looks (to me) like it coud be an early Musicman case (?) :- https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-80s-Fender-USA-Precision-Bass-Guitar-Molded-Hard-Case-In-Brown/332837989496
