  1. dimensions (x3) & no. of 'U' (?)
  2. ... should be fine. I'd be happy to send them for you to try initially.
  3. I think it's the way the system 'works', in that the last comment(er) remains ad infinitum (generally when a thread is 'bumped'). So I'm adding this to hopefully take up the mantle.
  4. https://www.davidduggleby.com/auctions/131020232198/0/3010/Early1960sAmericanFenderPrecisionelectricbassguitarwithorigi.aspx?search=&auction_no= not ebay but potentially of interest and not sure where else to post (?)
  5. Thanks sandy_r - the responses from yourself and BassBunny are really helpful / informative. I'll update with developments asap.
  6. ... thanks for the suggestions/help: ordered some new / corrct fuses. Hopefully this will sort the issue; but - worst case scenario - what might be the issue IF the fuse(s) continue to blow ?
  7. Thnks BB :- 1. 'Discovered' a “hidden” fuse in the power input which has clearly blown. Replaced it ............... 2.This does seem to be the problem. I’ve replaced the 250v fuse in the power input and this has blown again.
  8. no previous issues with this. Not used for a while but yesterday evening played (home) at low volume for about 20 minutes .... and then nothing. Not powering up. I’ve changed the kettle lead with no change. The fan wasn't on but can't recall if this is permanent or kicks-in when required (?) - but no apparent heat (or 'smell'). I checked the 2 internal (glass) fuses and both OK (... was hoping this might be the simple fix)............ Any thoughts / ideas ?......
  9. Fender Deluxe Active Okoume 4 string Jazz Bass.
  10. As new. Specifications (Model Name: Jackson JS3Q Spectra IV Bass, Dark Sunburst) Pickup Switching: 2-Way Toggle Switch (Pickup Coil Split) Controls: Volume (Push/Pull Selector for Active/Passive Options), Blend, 3-Band EQ (Active Only)
  11. I also measure them in inches - might depend upon the distance from the saddles to the bridge 'insert/s' (It's only c. 1-1.5" on a standard Fender BBoT bridge), but the E is c. 39.5" and the others 41-41.5" .... so -1.5" (bridge .... possibly) should give you about 5.5" - 7/7.5" above the nut (?) ... but headstock design/length might also be(come) a factor.
  12. Thanks - could well be. NOTE: just amended the post details as they're from a 32" bass (not a 34"), but the c. string lengths are correct.
  13. Taken from a 'new' (to me) bass. I won't be using them but appreciate that they're an expensive buy when new (c. £45 - 80 depending on make/brand). I had thought they might be Roto Tru Bass (?) but the gauges seem lighter at c. 50/65/85/105 (similar to D'addario version). If anyone recognises them, let me know or add to the thread. The lengths are: E (100); A (105); D (105); G (104) 2 + 2 headstock (32" scale). Includes postage :-
  14. .. to clarify, I can confirm that this is actually (a bit of) the DR.BASS 1260 Compact Cab (3-way 300w/8-ohm) - I don't really know the Greenboy ('Fearless') F12 but there do appear to be some similarities in the specs.
  15. ...great 'little' instruments: super light, easy playing, excellent tones (and buid quality. I have a 5-string 30" ss version:-

  19. update on dimensions:- Overall inner length / width = 119 x 36cm 'body' area = 53 x 34/36 cm neck support section = 41cm headstock area = 25 x 34 cm each storage pocket = 33 x 12 x 5 cm
  20. WOLFPAK deluxe BASS hard case. Excellent condition (interior / exterior - see photos). Bass NOT included - just there for demonstration. Probably the best case of this type I've seen/used (carefully- it's in great condition). WolfPak bno longer seem to do instrument cases - but their range of backpacks (current) are similarly exceptional (and expensive).
