  1. Thanks! Yeah it's this one, rather than the CRT series 🙂
  2. Cheers! It's 4.5kg so just under 10lbs 🙂
  3. Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass V, with sunburst finish and maple fretboard This is a mid 2000s model with the humbucker in the bridge. 18v preamp. Knobs are Volume, pickup blend, 2 band EQ using the stacked pots and a Mid boost/cut. Weight according to my bathroom scales is 4.5kg. has a slightly smaller body than a regular P bass and is very well balanced so the weight is much more comfortable than you would think! Comes with a Fender hard case as pictured. I don't have the key to the case however. Some cosmetic marks on the body, and around the Truss rod adjustment on the pickguard as pictured. Also one of the string ferrules at the back disappeared at some point. I have attached as many pictures as I could of any imperfections but feel free to ask if I have missed something out Sounds like an active P bass! The bridge pickup has more of a J sound than a humbucker and it blends with the split pickup really nicely. B string is fantastic! As per the Stingray I previously sold, this is for sale as the owner, my uncle, passed away and wanted his instruments to continue to be played. I have kept two from his collection but I really can't justify having all of them! There will be more coming up for sale soon. Collection preferred, but I could meet part way depending on distance, I'm based in Northamptonshire. Thanks for looking!
  4. NS Design CR5 5 String Electric Upright Bass EUB Maple body and neck, ebony fingerboard with dot markers. Comes complete with a stand, gig bag, and a bow. The bow itself has seen better days, and I don't seem to be able to tighten it so I'm unsure if it is still useable however. 18v preamp. Knobs are Volume, blend, treble and bass. Some very minor cosmetic marks, one near the knobs and one on the headstock, I have included pictures of these. As per the Stingray I previously sold, this is for sale as the owner, my uncle, passed away and wanted his instruments to continue to be played. I have kept two from his collection but I really can't justify having all of them, and I am definitely not skilled enough to play an EUB! There will be more coming up for sale soon. Collection preferred, but I could meet part way depending on distance, I'm based in Northamptonshire. Thanks for looking!
  5. Had the pleasure of dealing with Stuart when he purchased a Stingray 5 from me today Communication was solid throughout, he turned up to our meeting place early, and we had a nice chat also. Thanks a lot man!
  6. I've added the weight now 🙂 11.2lbs or 5kg according to a brand new set of bathroom scales
  7. Would you believe I actually don't have a set of scales? 😅 I'll fix that asap and update the post
  8. Always found it interesting how totally different these are to the 4 string version. The pickup switch, body contouring and even the pickguard. I don't usually play a 5 string but I feel like it's such an upgrade with the Stingray
  9. Yeah! The EB website lists it as "white", so I'm not sure if this is it's natural colour or if it's happened with age. Either way, it looks cool!
  10. Musicman Stingray H 5 string bass in an off-white / cream finish, with rosewood fretboard This is a 2007 model with the Ceramic pickups 3 band active EQ and 3 way selector switch for series/parallel/single coil mode Weight according to my bathroom scales is 11.2lbs or 5kg. Feels much lighter due to how well balanced it is! Comes with a Hiscox case as pictured. Very light damage on the outside of the case which is visible in the photos. Some cosmetic marks on the upper horn as pictured, these can't be seen when you're "wearing" the bass 😅 The tuning pegs aren't shiny like the rest of the hardware, not really sure why as they've been that way for years, but I kind of like it! Really comfortable bass to play, well balanced with a really smooth neck, and obviously the Stingray sound. Collection only please, based in Northamptonshire Thanks for looking!
  11. There's your answer 😂 Thanks! It's a Peavey Zodiac. I've had a bit of a love affair with them for a while now!
  12. Every gig I do this, and I pull a bird every time. Might be a slight exaggeration...
  13. I always have the volume and tone full up as I've set my tone around that. If I need to adjust on the fly I just dial back to suit
  14. Only one of my six has the adjustment wheel!
  15. Sid approached me as I only owned five Peavey Zodiacs, and he knew this wasn't as many as I needed. He was kind enough to hold the one he owned for a couple of weeks for me, communication was very thorough and he even went to the trouble of arranging us meeting up at a fellow BCer's place near me as he was buying a bass too! Thanks again dude
  16. About half an hours drive to Birmingham
  17. I love Zodiacs, I have five of them now! Weirdly enough the white and rosewood ones are the lightest, have the thinnest necks and a less deep sound. The bridges are poor quality pressed steel which will eventually cause your strings to break if you play super hard like me. If you replace it with another metal it'll make the tone noticeably less bright. They look nice with hipshot kickass bridges, and if you get the steel saddle inserts it will sound very close to the original bridge
  18. Good call GM. It's a shame as they used to offer really good service, and were the only place I'd order from. I didn't actually realise they'd changed hands at the time but knowing that, and that problems are still ongoing, I'd never use or recommend them again.
  19. I had trouble with them last year after placing a £200 order which was never fulfilled. They ignored phonecalls, voicemails, emails and facebook messages, and only tried to contact me after a couple of weeks and a successful PayPal dispute. They phoned to offer an excuse and I told them I didn't want to know and hung up. flip those guys!
  20. Bugger! If sale falls through please message me mate. If not... Enjoy em Mikey, they're amazing pickups!!
  21. I've had Elixirs on my main basses since 2017 and theyre still bright and clangy. I'm gonna find a few older posts and mention it in there too.
