New Zoom B3
No, just give us a call or send us an e-mail with your order number and the address you want it sent to.
Awesome.... email sent. I am very much looking forward to breaking this out ... I used to have the B9.1ut and loved the compressor and EQs in particular but it was far too complicated for a peon like me!

Looking forward to it - both the pedal and the initial thoughts Richard, is it too late to change the delivery address: I stupidly gave my work address and of course tomorrow is Saturday

OMG just put an order in. Fingers crossed there will be enough for me!
4. I have one. I think no dots on the fretboard is a plus! There are dots on the side of the neck so you can tell what you're playing. I have changed the pickups to bartolinis, and I also changed the bridge to a Babicz but the bridge swap hasn't really changed anything really. Other than that, great bass, super light and comfortable neck.
5. The compressor behaves like this because the E string is much louder than the other strings - fix this by decreasing the bass or increasing the mids/treble on the bass. Could also tilt the pickup to move it closer to the higher (pitch) strings and/or moev it away from the E string. This will result in more even compression over the strings - then fix the EQ using the amp controls. That's what I'd do anyway!
6.
Thats an intresting idea. I've not considered that before.
TC actually give this as an example of how to use their amps (see p16 of the US manual, for example). It's like "hey, buy more of our amps!" Not considered using this method for any other amps though, but these things aren't cheap so buying just one head instead of two would be preferred! Still, a Markbass F500+F1...
7. We play detuned 2 steps across the board (D G C F) and I use D'Addario "aldude custom set" 120-95-75-55, so they're pretty fat for a 4-stringer. I have also found the truss rod needed loosening up, and the intonation is set so the bridge parts are very very close to the bridge itself, i.e. the strings are almost as long as they can go, to get the intonation right. Apart from that, there aren't any other problems, though I had another bass (Spector I think) which would have needed the nut filing to accommodate such fat strings, though I didn't do it in the end. So, the nut problem varies from bass to bass. Incidentally the current bass is an Ibanez and the nut is fine.
8. I have a TC Electronic RH450, which happily works with a 4 ohm cab and an 8 ohm cab ... total impedance 2.67 ohms. They are Barefaced cabs I often like to try new things, and would maybe like to try another head, but would like to keep my 2 cabs. Are there any lightweight/micro heads out there that are confirmed rated to 2.67 ohms or below? (TC have released specs that show they can handle all the way down to 2 ohms but I don't think that info is widely available - it's on BC somewhere though!)
9. Bump for price drop.
10. Have another bump - I have the G50, it's definitely the best thing I have ever bought instrument-wise!
11. I used to have a Roadster, from 1980, fretless, active 2-band EQ. Not sure about the model number. It was in pretty good nick. Sold it for £250 on the evil bay a couple of years back. Nice bass, though it weighed a ton!
12. Ah... but does it do drop-D? Still waiting for the software for the daddy Polytune pedal...
13. Title says it all.... Not used all that much, less than a year old & in mint condition. Has velcro on the bottom. [s]£40 posted.[/s] Sold.

New Zoom B3

Right, our guitarist has a G3 and loves it, so looking at the B3. I notice Thomann is out of them, anyone know anywhere else they are for sale?
15. It worked just fine in my passive jazz bass! Not sure how it compares with the original P pickup as I didn't really pay much attention to it. But my vague memory says the Bart sounds a bit cleaner and probably a bit scooped as well, i.e. a bit deeper and brighter. All depends on the pickup that you've got now though really!
16. I have another Bartolini bass, so I love Bart pickups, but I'm in the mood to experiment with some other ones. In other words, I got GAS
17. This P bass pickup is now surplus to requirements. It's the regular 8S version, original series. Blurb from Bartolini says: "deep, smooth tone with lots of lows and low mids." These pickups have been installed in my Fender PJ (Aerodyne), used for one practice then taken out. So, they are practically new. Price dropped to £75 posted. Bargain!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for looking! 18. A+B seems to be about the same volume as just A or B.
19. Looking to sell these two pedals, as I don't use them much! First up is a SFX Loop Logic pedal. From SFX custom shop, cost £174 in July 2011. Totally mint, looks awesome like all SFX pedals. This pedal splits one input into two outputs which can go through separate pedals back to the inputs. Two footswitches allow you to switch between the loops, both footswitches on means the two signals are blended. So the output can be clean, loop A, loop B or A+B. Level controls for each loop are included. Has input for Boss-style power supply. Here is a pic from the sfx site, which is all the info the site has on this: http://www.sfxsound..../loop_logic.jpg Looking for £130 posted for this. Will get a pic up soon - will be Tuesday at the earliest though, due to the guitard hoarding my gear Loop logic now sold! [s]Second up is a Markbass Super Synth. Highly regarded synth pedal. Again mint, comes with 12V power supply. Looking for £175 posted.[/s] Super Synth now sold!!
20. And the SFX! Interersted
21. Bump - now available for sale.
