Barry Adamsons Jag sounded awesome when I saw Magazine live and I have seen a few local bassists use Jags and sound great. Vid of him playing it on Jools Holland here... But better off with an ATK300..
Wow, never seen one of those. Looks really cool. Probably loads of scope for messing around with the electronics in them too!

Keyboard audio interfaces: Alesis Photon X25 / M-Audio Ozone
mancunianfox replied to Oscar South's topic in Recording
Hey, i've been looking for a specific tool for a job, these two piece of hardware pretty much fit my requirements exactly only they're both discontinued and there doesn't seem to be anywhere to get hold of one. Does anyone know if there are new product lines out at the moment that do a similar job/have similar functionality to these or know anywhere I could get hold of one of these? Cheers, Oscar.
I have a Novation X-Station that I wouldn't mind parting with that does these functions plus has a built in synth on it too. -

Unfortunate. I must admit I wasn't expecting that to go so quickly -
[SOLD] M-Audio Fast Track USB Audio Device

Trying to sell this USB sound card at the moment as I no longer have a use for it. Ideal for recording Bass, Guitar or Microphone. Runs off USB and is very portable so is ideal for use with a laptop on the move.
If you guys could tell me in English what to do I'll do it
oops sorry Try opening the page you have saved in explorer. Then go to save as and change the file format to 'Web archive, single file'. That should save the page with all of the fancy graphics and stuff as a single file.

Check out the SX Stingray on the Waltons site... Active circuitry, 3-band EQ, Ash body. They've even got the 6-bolt neck and all for £265. Would love to play one to feel what they are like to play.
-
The SX basses in the starter packs are a little different to the ones from Rondo. The starter pack basses all have 21 frets for a start.

I find it very difficult to stand still whilst playing with a band. Also I can't tap my toes and stay in time but I can don't have the same problem if I leave my toes on the floor and tap my heel instead.

I liked 'There are numerous signatures on this guitar which are yet to be verified. so we do not know much on those as yet.' Plus who the hell was Sid Viscous????

Awesome band. Blister In The Sun is one of my favourate basslines. Anyone know what bass he's playing in that youtube vid?
That's what I did. It doesn't work! Chris
The file you uploaded was an .html file not an .mht.
Theyre all on the file I atteched but not on the file when downloaded here. If someone can tell me a better way of doing it, I'll do so. As has been suggested above, it is an extremely useful resource Chris
Try loading the page in explorer and then saving it is a single file (.mht) and then uploading that. The pictures should all be saved in one file then.
I saved it. I'll attach it to this post and hope it works. I guess that you can simply right click on it and save it? Chris
Pics still not appearing for me. Anyone else?
I have one of them. STUNNING bass. I love the Combo of ric-esque shape and the block inlays. However, if my financial situation gets any worse, it may end up for sale
You better not sell it on here...I may be forced to buy it then -
He gets overshadowed by Justin Chancellor but I've always thought that Paul D'Amour was ace on Opiate and Undertow by Tool.
Of course we don't know anything about what the customer wanted, but we can see that they are trying to emulate the wear pattern of a jaco jazz as they are referring to a picture of one onscreen.
I was working off that assumption as well. I am still suprised that the shop would be that eager to devalue one of their instruments, customers wishes or not.

I don't have a problem with the attempt to relic it. I'm offended that they would sell a mex jazz with that cavity routing without a scratchplate on it. The customer wanted a jaco jazz and that doesn't even look close to it. They obviously have no eye for detail and that is what is important to musicians when they spend large amounts of money on a new instrument.
