still for sale ?
-
mine has a recommended min. load of 8 Ohms in bridged mode , so it's the old model...
but most speakers are 8 ohms, if you use two of them you can run the amp stereo and you have 2 x 350 = 700 Watts.
if you use one 8 ohm speaker, using bridge mode is 1000 watts....
ok, if you only have one speaker with 4 ohms.... it's a less...the amp delivers 500 watts into 4 ohms to one channel but most standalone speakers can't accept 1000 watts anyway..... -
what is the difference between the "new" and the "old" model ? It's two years old.... and I used it twice only....
-
nice one.....has it been refinished ? if you need an original tortoise pickguard for this beauty, tell me :-)
i would swap against a plastic white for my 65' CAR or a black plastic for my 72 ' OLY White . -
Like a brand new amp ....gigged 2 times....
stereo transistor head , 2 x 500 Watts , which is enough in every situation, small, lightweight, easy to handle.
890 EURO -

Hi all, my first Status .....It's an early Series II
What kind of wood is this ? any idea? thanks -
and my 62' stripped NOV P-bass, NOT a slab board.....very light and resonant, strong pickup, all original except body finish, which was stripped early 70'ies. The body was sunburst before.......A nitro laquer was put on top after stripping, nice honey color, which matches the headstock....4000 EURO with case

Hi all, here is my Oly White 73' P bass, for sale.......2500 EURO

hi all....interesting thread.....here is one of the first JD's ever made
enjoy these basses ....... -
Hi all,
thanks to Stingray Pete, I found this forum. Well , I have some nice pre ernies too, but , to be honest, I prefer the late 79' ones ....and ASH bodies....therefore, i sell all my custom colors (black, oly white and probably even my Inca Silver) , which are alder bodies.....for another ASH one....if someone is selling a good sounding ( please not a Natural one ,I have a natural 79 , which was my first pre ernie, I'll keep it) perhaps a sunburst ?, which other colour has an ash body ? I prefer also the bigger neck size, not the slim jazz neck size..perhaps even a rosewood neck / ash body ?
i even would throw in one of my fenders p-basses.....thanks guys... -

in fact, the KURANDT preamp is the best on the market for me, and not expensive at all. No noise, no sharp frequencies, very warm sound, easy to install without any additional wood-work......
-
whole set of old EMG's from 1980'ies, with tone blend, pots and complete wiring , Pots are vol-vol- - stacked bass/treble...90 euro, shipping included
-
Indeed, this beast is well balanced, no problem for a 3 hour gig....but the sound and punch are in the heavy weight ones :-)
-
very heavy ash body, 5 kilo, very fat sound......Badass bridge, Lindy Fralin Pu's and Kurandt 2-way active electronics, ( superb German Preamp) far better than a Jazz Retro. Marcus Miller sound par excellence with case
1800 euro
