1.
It's long been accepted that the best way to train a guitarist is by positive affirmation, rather than by rubbing his nose in the stench he's made. So if he's good, give him a treat. This will, of course, vary depending on the type of band. If it's 70s style rock covers, a Werther's Original or barley sugar will suffice. If it's mathcore or something similarly young then Haribo or cheesestrings will have to do.
Brilliant! :-)
2. Martyn bought a violin off of me & it was an easy transaction! Fast payment, excellent comms, nuff said. Deal with confidence people! Cheers, Si aka "Norm".
3.
Has anyone had a problem getting insurance because they are musicians ? When I was getting car insurance quotes last year, the prices were prohibitive when I said my profession was musician, but came right down when I said teacher.
My wife has had trouble hiring a van too, put artist down as profession (true) got told no. So changed it to painter/decorator & got the hire van! Madness I tells ye. :-)
4. Guitarist from our band was there said it was great or "jizz worthy" as he put it!
5. Nice work Sibob!
6. Played it in a trio with a 4 str in std tuning by using an octaver (mxr) & playing the low c on the a string an the high c on the g string. Sounded ok. I sang it too (clever clogs!). Cant do that down tuning floppy flappy string thing, dont work for me.
7. Thought I'd priced this to sell? Spotless condition delivered to your door for £60. Less than half price of a newie! Bump.
8. In perfect condition, half the price of buying it new! Decent quality starter guitar kit incl practice amp & delivered to your door for a bargain £75! Bump.
9. The amp wont be too heavy, the cab however....gutbustingly so!
10. Really liking that all apart from the price! Mr Discreet's restored one in vintage white (of course) is a great looking bass, top marks to all involved in the work, its ace!
11. That rig will sound like a bomb going off & is luckily built to withstand the impact of same! Had a 4x10 of a similar vintage, was known as "the dreadnought".
12. Oh yes! Beeyootiful!
13.
OMG! I can't believe this price Have another free bump on me I'm so glad I bought mine a few weeks back It's identical to this, and I'm blown away by how good it looks, sounds and feels to play GLWTS There are some crazy low prices on quality basses atm and this one's really low Someone grab a bargain, quick!
Great price granted but collection only will reduce number of potential buyers. T'other side of t'country that, if it was Burnham on sea I could be persuaded! GLWTS
14. "Tons of character" :-) That character has been built by being repeatedly shot at by the look of it!
15. Wasn't San Dimas where Bill & Ted had their adventures? Bonkers description :-)
16. Quite a queue forming! Not a lot of point adding my name to the back of it, extremely unlikely to be still available after saturdays viewing. Nice bass nice price.
