1.
And here's another. http://www.ebay.co.u...cvip=true&rt=nc
Aye. But that one didn't sell. The sale was ended by the seller (lost or broken). I was looking for ones that had sold, but then again, you can never be too sure.
 2.
WIthin the last year I bought a Boss OC-2 off gumtree for £20. Will I go to hell?
Yes. And for many other things beside
 3.
Can you pass the links please? I was looking myself to help explain my point but only found one. 4. I found 2 completed listings on eBay for Squier JV P basses. One for £800, the other for £600, both from dealers and both looked mint.
 5. I think it raises some interesting points, but just trying to avoid a ding-dong. I thought the sale looked genuine enough, but I'm no expert on genuine Squiers. I think you'd want to get a close look at the neck tho. At the end of the day, no matter what anyone thinks, it's the sellers sale. Isn't this what ebay is about, tho? Finding the dusty gem that the seller doesn't know what they have?
 6. Take it easy Chaps, whatever your opinion there's no need for anyone to get bent out of shape. Maybe it's a bit late.
 7.
Fender QC has really gone downhill since they moved production of certain models to Amleth Prime - I don't want to seem racist, but the Cardassians really couldn't care less and frankly accepted the deal just to make enough lek to ensure their nebula continues to render cloaking devices inoperable in the Alpha Quadrant. Tsk!!
Aye. But, I'd give that Kim one, though.
 8.
Anyway, to answer the question properly - if I had some spare cash for indulging myself, I'd quite fancy a BC Rich Greg Weeks Eagle. Unknown on these shores.
Some beard action happening there
 9. I think it looks pretty cool with the pick-guard. A nice different looking bass
 10.
I don't care though, as I'm off my face on synthetic opiates. Happy New Year!
Softie. Can't you get any real ones?
 11.
Im asking a lot of money because I paid a lot and its still in perfect condition. I'm not some kind of shister who's pulling the wool over peoples eyes, I just want to sell a nice bass. I'm not on here asking for comments from people who aren't interested in buying the bass. These sort of remarks make the basschat board look a bit silly.. There will be pictures tomorrow, until then, you can get a good idea from the vid!!!!
I completely and utterly disagree. Who's to say these comments are not coming from people who are interested in buying the bass? Without pictures you may as well be a shyster for all we know. I don't think it's the Basschat 'board' looking silly. But GLWTS and HNY!
 12.
Thats a bit aggro, have you been drinking!?? Pics tomorrow. Not sure what the deal is with needing an exact weight!?! The official weight is 4.10 kg - I dont have a set of scales in my house AT ALL, so I cant weight the bass to the nearest gram Sorry!
Not really aggro, Talbo. You're asking a lot of money for a bass that you haven't provided details for. Would you part with £2200 to someone who couldn't take the time to provide pictures of the actual item?
 13. I finally got to play on one of these today, and I was very impressed. Really liked the neck, over all it was very comfortable and looks great. It sounded great through the SVT I was going through, with lots of options with the coil-tap and that. Now I'm all in a bad mood because I want to buy it but just can't with having a new Coronado and my TBird build on the way. Curses! I wish I'd hated the bloody thing! I'm surprised I've not heard more about these on the forum, I think for the price they are well worth a punt.
 14. If Discreet offers you sweets, politely decline and walk away from him backwards. Welcome to the forum!
 15. Looking good! Yup, you get woodworm holes in Wishbass wood. He uses reclaimed and found wood for that authentic rustic patina! Have you checked the Wishbass re-fins at Dave's Bass Place? http://www.davesbassplace.com/DavesBassPlace/Refinishing.html
 16.
Thanks for posting this. Do you have any suggestions of where to get this done in London? I've edited the post to give a bit more detail about the bass.
I'll have a think about this. Any decent luthier will be able to tell if the wiring is original and get the codes off the pots. The chap I use is in Reading tho. Keith at Wunjo has worked on my Coronado, which is a hollow body, but I bought it from them and I have heard they only work on guitars bought in the shop. I found Keith very amenable and his work very good It's an interesting bass, so they he could well have a look. Can't harm to ring them and ask..0207 379 0772 Yes, Andy Baxter will definitly be able to help
 17. BTW, no matter what anyone says, the value of the bass lies in what you want for it, and what someone pays for it.
 18.
This isn't a particularly helpful post mate. Are you suggesting it's overpriced or that I should edit the post to mention this modification?
The addition of the cover on the back is IMHO quite a sensible mod. It's not changed the aesthetic of the bass, and very much doubt it will change the sound. Although the presence of the cover might indicate it has had some work done to the inside. Collectors do like stuff like pots to be all original. Why don't you see if you can have the provenance of the electrics verified then all is up front and out in the open. But, TBH I don't think it's going to affect the value greatly. It's not like someone has butchered it and put in a jazz pup at the bridge.
 19. Anyone know what's in this stuff?
 20.
The doc did my NR scratchplate a couple of months back. I can trace the original Gibson plate and send it to him in a day or two. I have address somewhere. P
Brilliant, thanks Paul. I'll PM his address
 21.
A weightless Stacia would be something to behold . . .
You'd need a time machine to fully appreciate the gravity
