2.
My worry is it looks like an enormous chocolate coloured phallus on the left hand side
Aye. You're a classic case, Clarky
 3. I was lucky enough to win tickets here to see him a couple of years back doing Metal Box. One of my best gigs of all time. Just fantastic.
 4.
This is my washing up music of choice.....

If an artist were to release an album with that title and that cover nowadays...it would cause a stir!
I don't see how. The Ladies need to sleep, so the kind Gentleman is letting them stretch out on the floor, because the sofa is not big enough. He's decent enough to keep that large dog with him so it doesn't eat the ladies faces off when they are sleeping. Paragon of virtue as far as I can tell.
 5.
.... the melodeon.
The Melon-whatnow? I think I had one of those as a dessert once. I can hear a banging on my ceiling.. I think it's the neighbors dancing to Hangar 18
 6.
Then i sit down, have a nice cup of tea and listen to this........
Total Groove
 7.
Aiming to keep the energy up..
This vid is the 'before' pic of my kitchen ..are they Boddingtons cans? Class!
 8.
Ah. Sunday tap yer foot music.
What on earth is that tiny 8 string bass?
 9.
Here's my bit of brightening up a dreary Sunday, a bit of classic 70s disco with a super-funky bass line
Every track is getting a play in Castle Apple, and some have had more than a few, Turn it up.. Let the music take you... We're on the Groove!
 10.
I agree with Billy Apple, your comment came over as laced with vinegar. I don't think anyone here is dumb enough enough to think everyone appreciates their own musical tastes so why p*ss on someone's else's parade? As for your reply, it must be lovely to live in your world
Cheers Clarky. This thread is nothing to do with musical taste, or influencing anyone's opinion. It's purely a bit of fluff to brighten up what was a cold Sunday afternoon. Anyway, I'm TP now-a-days. With that in mind, and with one eye on the run up to Christmas.. Here's Jim Lea playing a Ric, or maybe a copy.. I don't know, or even care!... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68db9iial_U
 11.
At the same time?
The singers haircut is definitely 2in1... um, and Yes, I have.
 12.
I was really expecting something good but it's so bland and ordinary to my ears. Good video with the sound down mind.
Well, knock me out with your own
 13.
That's pretty funny. My point was that one can't expect others to share the same views and that's okay. Interesting that you took that as so c negative. Maybe that says something about you, doesn't it? But thank you for your constructive contribution.
There is nothing interesting here what so ever
 14.
It's very well known that Zappa was a well organised and serious musician as are his views on drugs.
'It's taken away a lot of their ambition' 'We have yet to reap the so called benefits of the acid generation' Very bright Chap.
 15.
i hope you put some talcum powder in those rubber gloves
Mick Ronson is better looking than most Birds I've been with! Lovely warm Jazz tone. I can see cabs, but no head. Any idea what he's playing through?
 16.
Sunday in the kitchen will always find me skanking
Up loud here!
 17.
The actual device whether you buy the Auralex version or make your own is one of those things that you don't notice doing anything if it's doing its job properly but you will notice the first (and only) time you forget to bring it and end up spending the gig trying to control the bass boom that it normally eliminates.
So, in a nutshell, is it a good buy?
 18. I listened to an interview with this wifey who used to be his secretary/PA. The interviewer was alluding to what a crazy, drugged up time it must have been working around Zappa. But, she said No, he was completly organised, lucid and serious about everything he did. I don't know much about his work outside of Dancing Fool and Jewish Princess, but this is my favorite track.. (so far).. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6diCm4x3iRg
 19.
I remember vividly how that album raised the bar for virtuosity in metal. Vai , Sheehan , Bisonnette = watershed moment.
I always thought Van Halen was Diamond Dave. Never got into Sammy Hagar at all. But in fairness to the Chap, I've been quite enjoying this on Planet Rock.. 20.
Sorry Not intended
No worries, mate. I'm just pulling your leg. Aquilar's top stuff, I'm sure this won't be around long. GLWTS
 21. ^This. I'd avoid anything that is going to put undue stress on your vocal folds. I trained as an Actor and we used to do a lot of work in order to be heard and to protect the voice at the same time. All this metal-guttaral stuff is not really my bag, but each to their own. If you really must do it, I wouldn't look at it as a scream, but as the voice of a character, in the same way as an actor might find another voice. Then you will find the voice comes from you, and not from the neck. After all who-ever thinks about their voice when speaking? Think about a Baby on the bus next to you. The bastard can scream all day long and never tire. Because the voice is completely unfettered by thought or external influences, it just 'is', if you see what I mean. BTW, getting nodes on your folds is serious, and often requires surgery.. So think on! Good luck!
 22.
I'm loving this band and their album has been one of my favourites this year. Despite the fact that they look like students from 1986 , complete with silly haircuts , their sound is very sophisticated and incredibly intricate . They are all good players , too:
I've had all those haircuts!
 23.
Quiet Sunday afternoon..? This will get me up from my paralysis...
Who would've thought I'd ended up at Jefferson Airplane this afternoon? Nuttalls Mintos! Keep 'em coming!
 24.
I like everything about this band , except the music , unfortunately.
Say what you like, but 1 post= one of your own. Come on, school us?
