Picking a song and expecting everyone to like it is like inviting someone over to your house and expecting them to redecorate their place exactly like yours.
A bit like expecting someone to add something positive and constructive. If you have nothing of your own to add to this thread, please feel free to take it elsewhere -
This has been known to induce jumping around:
Canny, that.
OK here's mine:
Not bad, Mike, not bad.. But the Vid scared me! -

BTW, instead of debating my choice, why don't you post up your Sunday air-bass song? -
Completely the opposite problem to the Savages - the video is fantastic, but the song is so bland and generic I barely noticed it!
Totally disagree. From the opening 'draaanng', just to how it flows, winds and builds. It's not all about anything at times, sometimes it's just about surfing the groove -
There aint no reasonable here! I'm cleaning the kitchen, listening to this over and over.. leaping around with my rubber gloves on, playing air bass, imagining I'm in front of of thousands bringing the noise.. I love this song!
No mate, I referred to CURTAINS metaphorically, as in drawing them open to reveal the light of possibility that most people miss, with a tiny reference to how people so often make stupid judgements based on gender. I had thought my play on words was too heavily veiled, but Discreet is way sharp
That's all fine then. I wouldn't like to get into a beef over curtains. Move along now.. Nothing to see here.
Bloody hell mate, you are highly perceptive. Didn't think anyone would pick up my cheeky play on words
Is all this Curtainage referring to a woman's lady-parts? Keep going, I might have to whip my cotton wrapped 'Mod Hammer' out.
Do me a favour Sean, when you're finished can you stick something better than this on YT. I recommend having some lights so the bass can be seen, using a rig which doesn't distort as soon as you hit the E-string, and try clipping your fingernails before hitting 'Record'. Incidentally, some of those tones are intriguingly deep into Ric territory ...
Aye, it's a bit of a crap demo. That and those pups are Bachs own, and not what will be on mine. You never know, I might put something up, but being a pick-playing wood butcher I've got this inferiority complex about posting any of my playing on BC!
IIRC that's the bridge Mike Lull uses on his T-Bass models.
Here you go..
What exactly is the collective term for Precisions? Personally I'm finding myself thinking, "that's a fine haven of Precisions"...!!!
A log.

Not me, no. But they are out there. 'Dave's Bass' has some pretty nice ones
It's a real, tangible, important community, not just a place to sell f***ing basses n sh*t.
These are kind words Nige, but please check Marketplace terms and conditions. I think you'll find the sale of 'sh*t' prohibited, along with alcohol, tobacco and firearms.
My wife said bloke as well, wasn't intending to be offensive but she is very masculine.
Aye well, Wayne, Your missus doesn't have the best eye sight after-all!
SERIOUSLY! A bloke?! She's an immensely attractive woman! Something is very wrong with either you geezers, or me
Maybe because she doesn't have a mini-skirt and a big rack that some may get confused.
I thought this would have been started by Billy Apple and that folks would go OT and the thread end up pear-shaped.
Hey, leave me out of it, everyone knows I'm all a bit Matamp.
ahh Bill the cockney?
Cock-er-nee through and through, me like. BTW, Do you think Orange have just read HJ's thread and fixed their heads accordingly?
Once you start providing a paid-for service you are always going to get complaints. Once money started changing hands the "the mods do this for free, be thankful for the forum" attitude (an admirable attitude at that) was always going to be stretched a bit.
But the site is not a paid for service. The fee only applies if you are selling, and I think it's fair to provide a service to the Members who have paid. I think it's forgotten that the Mods are protecting the Members interests as well as the owners in this respect. I suppose the answer could be to introduce a site-wide fee, or maybe to bin the Wanted section altogether. I'm not sure what you mean by the 'Mods do this for free' being stretched a bit, but they do, and it becomes tiresome having to mod stuff where Members are chancing their arm, or grinding personal axes. Edit: I don't mean you personally in my last sentence
There's a guy called Scott Dasson in the US who makes a two part bridge for Thunderbirds (the Badbird). Tom Petersson (Cheap Trick) uses them on his TBs. I'm not sure the expense over a Bach bridge is worth the fuss, but here's his FB if you're interested: https://www.facebook...166569760043127 Make sure plenty of pics get posted of this project! I'll be watching VERY closely Cheers P
I've seen this on my trawls. This has longer travel on the saddles to cure intonation problems caused by badly placed ones. A chap called Ben Lindsey http://www.lindseygu...com/T-bird.html makes them too. His look quite nice and feature a grub screw that locks onto the posts. Steve at the Thunderbucker Ranch can also supply the ones that are put onto Cataldo basses. But all in all the Bach one is keenly priced, looks fine and will not get garnished by Parcelw@nk.
Sir Ian Fraser Kilmister has a nice ring to it. Lemmy = Legend. Fact.
+1 I'd vote for him.
