1.
And life and love and a penis are well worth fighting for. Those were the days.
You lost then?
 2.
Oh yes
Lovely bass, BTW
 3. Lets Rock! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-ZEDNkZ2L4
 4.
Scars tell stories mate.
Yes. Once upon a time there was a handsome Prince of Slough. Full of pride he was with his custom built La Cabronita P bass. One merry morn he verily and forsooth decided to f*** about with it on the kitchen table. Upon his fiddling he'd neglected to regard a steel ruler in the cupboardington above his mighty feasting table. Whilst on a quest for beeswax or some other such nonsense yon verily ruler made a hasty escape from lofty shelf and yea verily did fall and twat the back of the Princes matte blacken nitro P body, delivering it an indelible blow. And yea did the Prince rail at the Gods for the misfortune dealt upon him.. 'For f***s sake, I've only had the **** a week and I've dinged the bastard already!' And they all lived happily ever after.
 5.
I found that quite dull
To quantify I should say that compared to Broken (listen to Wish for comparison) this is dull. But then again I'd sooner be listening to Psalm 69, as Reznor was always a Jourgensen copyist, but certainly a bigger media whore. Anyway, Jesus Built My Hot Rod. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXCh9OhDiCI Paul Barker!
 6.
I'd still recommend trying them out Lozz as they might well be your thing but unfortunately they didn't suit me at all for a variety of reasons. A shame but you live and learn!
I agree. I love my Coronado, but on paper it's a bass I would've never have given house room. At the end of the day you need to try for yourself.
 7. Had a bit of electrical hardware malfunction in the area of the selector switch. Took it back to Kev the tec at Wunjo today and he replaced and up-graded the switch, all in the time it took me to [s]look around the mucky book shops in Soho[/s] conduct my business affairs in central London.
 8.
Damned right! An excellent book, both very funny and deeply scary. At least two or three times every year, there will be another scandal reported that reminds me of Goldacre's findings.
If you want scary, read this..http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TGN1412, sorry, no vintage Fenders in here and a complete de-rail, but all the same, have a look.
 9. This looks a nice/interesting bass. Please get a few more pics up, use photobouquet if ya canna up-lurd
 10.
One of the student placements at work is looking for an electro-acoustic 6string - I'll let him know..
Thanks Mick. It's a real beauty
 11. I think it's cos they're bigger with a large flat edge, so you get a bigger turn quicker. My missus doesn't like my speed knob though. Can't think why.
 12.
First wife.
I don't know... She speaks highly of you.
 13. What's the amp? Can you contact the manufacturer and ask the question?
 14.
And, it will be outrun, out handled and out everythinged by a decent new 3 Series which would set you back about £25K nowadays. It only looks good. In every other respect, new is better. Just like bass guitars.
Agreed. And that is why I'm enjoying my new Coronado so much.
 15. Was the repair under any warranty, or did they charge?
 16. I'm 46 and still wonder which end is which. Welcome!
 17. And chant the mantra.... Nyam-yo-ho-matamp-barefaced-handbuilt-tonejunki-ren-yo-ho
 18.
I had a plunk on one of these in Windows in Newcastle at the weekend. It was quite lovely, but - surprisingly - bloody heavy. I would never have guessed it was Chinese had I not spotted the sticker on the back of the headstock.
There is a right slab of Alder in them which makes the weight.
 19. We had a Westone Spectrum. I thought that was pretty cool.
