1. What's with the pedal clear-out, Jack?
 2.
I'm not going to approve those 'lucky dice', of course; 'witches hats' are the way to go, but I suppose youth will out. Much like a hot-rodded '50s Chevrolet pickup outside a texan bar, maybe.
I'd be the first to admit the dice are marmite, but I love them, and I'm in good company..
 3. I've got a Halfords socket set that includes a 5/16 that can go onto a screw driver shaft. I used this for my TBird with no problems. I think Halfords with sell the socket separately
 4.
You couldn't give the guitar a quick measure for me at some point could you please?
The length is 116 cm (body 45 cm, neck 71 cm). It is 42 cm at its widest point. The head stock is 14 cm at widest including tuner, 23.5 cm from nut to end. Nut 4.2 cm and 6 cm at the 17th fret. It was hard for me to judge depth, but I reckon 9 cm from top of bridge to back of body. Hope this helps
 5. The one for my Coronado...
 6.
Mike, do what you want mate, you're the character, the bass is your tool. I'm putting black nylon tapewound on my new active Jaguar
Black bass, black strings, black gloves. How the hell will you know where anything is?!
 7.

Brilliant! That's my Autumn look sorted.
 8.
I hate these kids
Is that you playing bass with The Strypes, Wayne?
 9.
'f*ck me, it sounds like Paddy's moped!'
Nowt wrong with Paddy's Moped. The first two albums were classics
 10.
Ah, yes! I didn't see the cream guard working at all, but it does. Like it! I would have gone with cream top hat knobs as well, mind.
Couldn't find cream top-hats, only stumpier Stratocaster type things. Any-hoo, the dice knobs have cheered me up no end. I reckon it's Rawk-in!
 11. I've just put La Bellas on my Coronado which is a 30", but the scale of the La Bellas is medium. I can't remember if it's Stringbusters of Stringsdirect, but they give you each string length. You can't have a length of silk over the nut, so don't cut them, bag them up and exchange for medium scale
 12.
Would that be Porn?
Indeed...
 13. Knobs and tip arrived and I'm loving it. Check out the Pron
 14. What paints and lacquer are you using?
 15. Where is the bass? Get a Member to check it out
 16.
At what distortion level is the thing. Valves are easy enough to check if they are giving the right power or not.
They always (with me) check at number 1 drive (out of 4). Hence the 200 watts clean claim. BTW Matamp are no longer using JJ Tesla KT88's in as power valves due to quality issues. Now they're installing Gold Lion.
 17.
Probably not rocking hard enough. Common problem with Gibson owners.
Yeah. Tell that to Nikki Sixx
 18. At least these can be fixed. But what would happen if one of the bigger ones next to it went? Blow it apart completely?
 19. Starcasters must come with a free beard
 20.
Am back down next Wednesday with work... oooh, could I make it over?!? I'm liking the look of these new Fenders a lot. Been great to read your positive feedback - beats chuntering about new models or QC issues
I wish I'd tried the Starcaster just to give an opinion. In terms of style it's not my thing, but it does look really good. There are a couple of bits that the Starcaster has over Coronado, firstly it has a fixed bridge that will avoid the vibrating in the trapeze piece I had (well, had, now it's been set for the La Bellas it's gone, but without the set up I'd be moaning about vibratey Fender trapezes!). You also get individual string height adjustment that is lacking on the Coronado. Also the Starcaster has the strap button on the top horn and should balance a bit better. My button is tight to the neck heel adjacent on the body, and it's a bit of a stuff to get the strap on. I thought this was because you couldn't screw into a hollow body, but the Starcaster must have some kind of block inside the top horn. As far as QC issues go, I cannot fault one bit about the finish and build quality of this bass. It's finished beautifully and I cannot find a flaw anywhere. You get get this finish on a £2k bass and not feel short changed. The one thing it did need was a good set up. I think the truss rods are quickly nipped up in the factory before the bass has had time to settle and maybe this is where humps and twists develop in transit through changing temperatures and humidity. Wunjo's tec did a first class job, and he transformed the bass. Not forgetting you get two years worth of this along with the warranty which I reckon is pretty good.
 21.
Don't suppose Wunjo had a Starcaster in, Billy?
Yup. A black one, maybe another, but can't remember what colour. but, definitely a black one
 22.
Come on then, where are these pics with all the new bits on?
Patience, my Dear. When my creamy and red bits arrive, you shall be first to see them
