1.
Hi, Did you get a hard case to fit it?
No hard case. It came with a gig bag. I'd prefer a hard case, but don't know if there are any fitted ones out there.
 2. I think it looks bland. Bit of this, bit of that. Product of a focus group. I'm sure it sounds good, but, meh.
 3.
It`s a bit pricey especially if it`s a MIM like the rest of the roadworns. Or is is a US model? I like the bit in the video when he says they worked on the design for 2 years. 2 years to design a bass that is almost the same spec as his old one apart from the relicing!! He`s having a larff!!
I had the MIM MD Fender, and there is no similarity. The neck is very different, slimmer nut slimmer profile. Different contoured body, different wood. I got rid of mine because it was prohibitively heavy to play, but no such issues with this one. The neck reminded me of the Custom Shop La Cab, and over all it had that kind of feel. The one I saw was white and it's stunning in an understated way. I might get back to Wunjo and give it a proper run out. Put it this way, had I saved my money and bought it I don't think I'd be moving it on. Plus I'd have a CS feel bass for £1k and a bit as opposed to near £3k. But, you're right, 2 years development? Maybe what he means is two or three visits to the factory over two years of a busy touring schedule.
 4. Had my Coronado set up by Wunjo tec Kev on Friday. Excellent job, he's got it spot on
 5. It was a right good crack. The Bones and I had had a long day, so had to bail before the end though . The band were sounding great and Jacks bass was stand-out superb. He had a real Mowton/Stax sound going on and the Matamp/69'er/Lull combo shined through. I kept saying to Bones 'Cor, Jacks bass sounds really good' The band really seemed to enjoy themselves and the the punters were up and dancing. Come, friendly Dogs, and reign on Slough!
 6.
I don't think it is you know. When I saw one the other day It was just painted on the headstock. Might be wrong tho, But I'm sure it was

I've not seen one in the flesh, so I could be wrong; it may be something they've changed from the originals, so as to save costs. But the Fender site for the Modern Player version talks of the "distinctively curvaceous" headstock, and at least one of the photos it shows seems to clearly show the German carve that the originals used to have. And the video review of it that Nevada put up on YouTube shows the headstock quite clearly and ... it definitely has a slight carve.
I was wrong. Was back in Wunjo and the head-stock is definitely carved (ran my fingers over and everything). Apologies for any offence caused, but it is hard to tell 'cos it's all black, like!
 7. In the absence of Silvia, the official Junkyard Dogs picture maker, I thought I'd step up to the plate and unleash the Hasselblad. So without further a-do the JYD's rock it up in Slough!
 8.
Yeh your right why not ? i wouldn't say its snake oil its an insurance which helps . I prefer graphite in all my necks btw for all the reasons you give .
I'm being a bit tongue in cheek with the snake oil comment, for every espousment I'd make on the QS graphite combo being fantastic, there's others who would argue it's all in the mind.
 9. I Love This Bass! I took it back to Wunjo yesterday and had a set up by Kev who works up in the attic of the guitar shop. All included in the price.. as many as you want for two years!. Wow! The neck is bang on, lovely low action and the buzz on the trapeze on the E has gone. He said this was down to putting the flats on and not re-setting up. But he's done a great job, plus he was a really cool dude. The new SP has arrived from the Doctor and its fits a treat. It doesn't look quite right due to the black knobs being on, so I'll not post up a pic till it's all done. I'm one very happy chappie
 10. This gig is quite lidderelly at the end of my road
 11. I've got a quarter sawn Warmoth neck which has graphite stiffeners in it. I got it QS simply because I was copying the Fender Custom Shop build on the copy I was building. Not ever having a QS neck before, it's difficult to compare, but it is awesome. Never budges come wind or rain or shine, no flat or dead spots, no buzzing. I've found other P necks with flat spots around the 5th and I'm guessing they were FS. Whether the Warmoth neck is better because it's QS, or whether it's because it's a big mass of maple and wouldn't budge if FS is anybodies guess. But I'm glad I paid the up-charge for the added snake oil.
 12. Just got the cream plate for my Coronado, and a black one for my La Cab. A speedy service with excellent results. Che-ors Bonny Laad!
 13. I bought my beautiful Coronado from them the other day. Absolutely first class service, and blew everyone else out of the water on price. As well as the 2 year warrenty it comes with 2 years unlimited set-ups. For the new-Fender nay-sayers at least there is a route for the non-setter up types to get the instrument just how they want it. Plus, I was searching for some sexy-flats to put on the C, after searching the usual suspects I thought I'd give Wunjo a call. Later that day I picked up a set of medium scale La Bellas at a very keen price. Thanks to Tom and the guys, keep up the good work!
 14.

Total style stylee. What's the head?
 15.
had them on zee benchh, it's the same as the orange 200watter. They don't have the proper drive or OT's
The last time I was at the factory they showed me the meter reading on mine which showed it was running 200 watts. This time it was at 160 until they changed the pre amp valve and now it is at 180. The 180 was attributed to the power valves being 3 years old. Maybe the one you had one the bench had old valves too.
 16. 1new pre-amp valve + 1 new switch + bit of soldering = fixed
 17.
I'm really not sure about cream. What would really do it justice is a nice black guard... oh, wait...
It's just a question of taste.. I've got it, and you question it! I think the cream will contrast lovely with the cherry. Don't forget I'm waiting on some red translucent dice knobs and a cream switch tip, for the whole '50's hot rod look. I'm made up to be finally getting a piece of kit bespoke from the Doc. I've found out he only lives a few miles from where I was born and raised.. and the other day he played one of my local boozers!
 18. I had a feel of one of these at Wunjo. Didn't have time to plug it in tho. Really lovely in the hands. The finish is great, and it doesn't weigh a ton like the Mexican version. I thought it very light weight and totally different to the others
 19.
Put on a black scratchplate?
Black s-p on its way from Uncle Horrid
 20.
Nigel should have great 'pride' in the project but I wonder if it will ever be his 'mane' bass. # You can't hide your lion eyes.....#
I've had to paws for thought at the grandness of all this. The Docs skill meant Nige did not have to hunt outside the family to get results. I'm sure others will pounce to get one similar.
 21.
they only do about 156watts anyway
How do you know that?
