Just back from a cracking gig watching The Junk Yard Dogs in Uxbridge. A very friendly crowd. Perhaps the first time a Pub Manager has come up to me and said 'can you tell the band to turn themselves up?' Priceless!. And the chaps were sounding spot-on. I'm sure there'll be a few photo's along in a bit.

I find stainless roundwounds are like cheese graters, where nickel ones have a softer feel. I've been playing flats lately though, so will make less of a difference. My flats were Roto's finished with something Roto call 'monel', some kind of nickel mix, but it feels bloody lovely. Maybe stainless give a more zingy tone, but I like things smooth.

I think it looks pretty cool, and it's different so what the heck!

Gah! If it's £15 a pop this might be a bit prohibitive for me and The Bones coming. We'd just be turning up to watch Nige. Please could you confirm entry on the door price. We might just hang on for the Nov gig

I'd love to get my old one back (well the same model). Light maple colour, single P type pup, all brass hardware, same logo as this one. I think the headstock looks most handsome!

I saw that bridge thing too, but TBH just thought it would need a proper set-up. Damn these bargains when my pockets are empty! I was hoping the winner was a member who could give us the skinny on that bridge!
