Pretty good photo of him in the neck plate. :-)
If it's bogus, he won't be that hard to find with those numbers stamped on his forehead.

Are the nurses coming?
I'd be seriously looking at one of those if they made a 5-string version. (The FA Delogada not the Gibson KN)
What is it with you and fivers? Will a four-er never do?

I saw one of these hanging on the wall in GAK in Brighton the other week. I thought it looked very nice indeed. Didnt have the time to give it a thrash, but might if it's still around this week end.

Nice. You've gotta love a deep 410 cab! Enjoy.
Brilliant! Come and say "Hi!" We're not so intimidating off stage!
Looking forward to it. My pal's coming too. I'm thinking about breaking out the red leopard creepers, it's been a while since they've seen action!
Also, a supertone is £129 from Bass direct, may have to ebay it. Do you think Monorail bridges or a Badass may be an alternative solution?
Try getting one from the States on Ebay. I paid under £70 for mine
Until a few minutes ago I got a page with "hacked by the Muslim Hackers" or something to that effect.
Didn't see that, this is all very odd
Incidentally, has New Model Army's website been hacked...? If this is/was the correct one. http://www.newmodelarmy.org/
That's the one.. I can't access it, just get error 504

Having this happen after the fire must be a sickener for the lads. I tried out for them earlier in the year, in fact Ceri went in before me. Please pass on my best wishes to them and hopes for some better luck. Sean

This is just round the corner from my mates flat, who what I'm visiting this weekend... I'll be there!

I don't give a monkeys-chuffbox about what people think about stuff like this. You have to call it something. Even if you called it something really cool, like the 'The Cathedral In Worship Of The Sonic Rumble-Hammer', someone would pick fault. I think the fact that the site can be called asschat at certain angles is a bit of comic genius and makes the place all the more endearing. Myself, I came on here nearly 2 years ago asking questions about valve amps.. and ended up with a full on Matamp rig. In the meantime I have.. Made friends Fell out with people Apologised and made friends with them Been to gigs with BC'ers playing Bought gear Sold gear Received top notch pro-advice Had bass lessons Auditioned for a name band Auditioned for unknown bands Met with other BC'ers in real life and got drunk with them Bought a Basschat shirt that was too big Won a competition I think Basschat is great, who cares about the name.... PS. Next weekend I'm off to see my pal in Brighton, and guess what? Our very own Big Red X is playing with Dick Venom and the Terror-tones, and I'm going. Plus I might be able to get a try-out on a Lakland Decade belonging to a fellow BC'er. How cool is that? Thank you asschat!
I just pointed out that intelligent people tend to feel a need to seek out others of the same ilk whilst you'll find an idiot on any street corner.
That's not true. I went out looking for an idiot on the corner at the end of my street. There was none there. Two and a half hours I waited on that corner for an idiot to arrive, and non came. I gave it 20 more minutes and then came home.
But Robert de Niro is a 'method' actor. He lives his role out by becoming his character. He'd grow the long beard - not wear a false one. I was on about method actors on here just the other day. Dustin Hoffman stayed awake for 2 nights before doing the famous dentist scene with Olivier in Marathon Man. He looked a mess - knackered (as he wanted to) but kept falling asleep during the shooting. Oliver went up to him and said 'if you learned to act properly , dear boy , you wouldn't have to put ypurself through all this' ! I'm with Olivier.
This is because Olivier came through the theatre where doing the same show night after night does not allow the 'Method' styles which can be indulged on film. Acting is not real, it is story telling. Olivier understood this and was not prepared to go mad for his art. We had types at drama school who would stay in character while off stage. or thinking that having some kind of mental break-down was part of the process... Grief! Just attention seeking. -

Love this Bass, but to costly. I like the upside down neck, but the decal should be inverted too! -
Pity they never put the pro-4 bridge on it though. It seems to be a passive pro-4 using the bolt on wings and old bridge to cut costs.I don,t mean the wings are bolted on Wings are mahogany on the pro-4,wonder what they are on this new one. Waiting for a review back to back with a gibbo,a pro-4 and the new kid.Should be interesting.
From the Epi site... 'The Thunderbird Classic-IV PRO features mahogany body wings' Plus the Pro IV has mahogany/maple laminate neck. This has walnut/mahogany, just the same as the Gibbo TB. I can't see how this in anyway significantly different to the real McCoy. Finally an affordable white TBird!
