1. I offered a bass for trade with them and they told me not to bother. Just said I'd easy get more selling private. And I did, about £400 more
 2.
Folks, I think I'm looking for a somewhat more radical solution. I'm looking for something seriously lightweight, but giggable. Something like the Sinsonido, or similar. So - get radical - step outside of the "normal" bass shape....Go on, be creative...
http://news.baileyguitars.co.uk/index.php/2011/04/bailey-custom-one-string-bass-77-assembly-and-set-up/
 3.
You can find gut shots in the Talkbass Portaflex Wiki: https://www.talkbass...rtaflex-models/
Cool. Thank you
 4. Nice review. I'd love to know how they put this together. How competent are you at turning it over, unscrewing the bottom plate and snapping the guts?
 5. I had a fondle of one of Sibobs Maryuzathingumibobs at the recent Herts Bash. Think it has a chambered body. Full size, feather light. Lovely bass.
 6. There's enough mass there to create its own black hole.
 7. Jackson Surfcaster £525 Price Drop £475 Last of the Surfcasters, virtually NOS and un-played. Still has the film on the scratch plate. Lovely translucent blonde body which is chambered mahogany with an ash top. Duncan designed lip-stick and humbucker, maple neck with black sharks-fin inlays. Been professionally set-up by Julian Mullen who does work for Bass Gear. Nice low action with a slim fast neck. I'm in near Newbury and can deliver locally / Thames Valley. Can drop in London zones 1 to 6. Will courier, but only if the buyer sorts it all and I just hand over. Comes with Gator HSC. Will get some better pics in a bit, but this will have to do for now. No trades thanks. Cheers!
 8. Bought this new from Wunjo. Never gigged, never been out the house and rarely out the case. Pristine and un-marked. I'm moving it on to raise funds for a new purchase, plus I'm pretty much a 100% Spector guy now-a-days. Comes with OHSC. Strung with La Bella flats the bass gives a real thump from the single Darkstar and plays like a toy, very nice indeed. The finish is superb, lustrous and deep, plus very light-weight. Dice knobs will be taken off and originals replaced. The price is firm. Will courier at buyers expense and risk. I'm near Newbury so will consider delivery locally. I'm in London most days so can drop off anywhere in zones 1 to 6.
 9.
Hang on, what happened to all the pictures of Trotsky?? Did Stalin have him airbrushed out, or something??
If you read back you see there's been a thread tidy. Play nice, it's that simple. Any posts keeping the nonsense going will be removed without PM. Persistent offenders will be sanctioned in accordance with forum rules. However, posts about this 410, or any 410, or bass, or amps or gigging are welcome. Thank you and have a nice day.
 10.
Silvie does all the band videos for the bands I play in. That camera she uses has an excellent microphone, and always does justice to the sound of the band.
I know. We only have to listen to you playing 'Happy Birthday' to know how excellent the sound is!
 11.
Connolly was a gibbering wreck at that time and barely moved two feet from his mic-stand; he had to be led on and off stage. His voice had gone and the drink had obviously wrecked his system.
The feller who decorated my flat in Slough told me he was one of the few friends Brian Connolly had left in the end. He was one of the few that visited him in Wexham Hospital when he finally died. He said Brian was a very difficult man, bitter and not easy in the slightest. I think it was all a bit Eleanor Rigby in the end.
 12.
Weird, not heard of DG Pedals going down before. Hope you get it sorted Si
I'm going to set it up at home and see.
 13.
Who's was that after all? Is it back working or had it genuinely died? Si
Mine. We hooked it up on it's own with different leads and power supplies and no dice. Not tried it back at home, but I should imagine it will be going back.
 14.
Lozz says he preferred the Little Mark over the Tone Hammer with the One10 and that the cab sounds different with different amps. Which is why I wondered if anyone had put the Handbox through it. Apparently not.
Tried it with both and it wasn't my thing.
 15.
DIBS!! - If you move the Fusion on. It's a shame you didn't get to try the Handbox with the One10.
I tried the BF110 with Lozz's Tonehammer. Not for me, wasn't keen on the tone.
 16. I'm a pick player and I've not detected any snobbery. You need to get along to our Bashes where the fingers give the picks all due respect and vice versa. It's not about the style you play, it's about you and if you are the best you you can be then people take notice.
 17. I honestly thought my B7K got zero votes. Bah!
 18. Very nice amp this. Seen and heard and fiddled with at the Herts Bash. Gets my seal of approval.
 19. Just home, thanks to all, but especially Bro Mick for pulling together such a cool day Hope to see you all and more besides at the upcoming SE Bash
 20.
that the special edition bit applies to the cherry burst option. these basses are surprisingly heavy for what you would imagine them to be. Mine weighs in at exactly 10lbs.
Well mine was from the first run and was vintage cherry burst.. Moved on though for being too heavy
