As above. Re-branded BL12-200X. I had these in my Matamp 212's. Nice, not transparent, but coloured old school flavour. A feller who bought one of my cabs was specifically after it because it had these drivers in. Heavy tho.
I think it's a national disgrace that there are no sound-clips in Discreet's NAD review for the Peavey MiniMAX 500. This member also believes there should be a video of him twiddling the knobs with close-ups front and rear.
Vote now! The results are enforceable by Basschat law.

They're forming a Basement Jaxx tribute act, to be called Basement Tomz ...

Yes. There's Tom Tit, Tommy Rot and Tom O'Rrow

Didn't you have noodle on my Jax last bash, my carpal-tunnelled comrade?

Ah, it felt like the summer would never end

I've got a black JAXT4. It is amaaaaaazing. Whether it's worth £3K is debatable, but did I say it's amaaaaaazing?

Pardon me, you've got a black Jaxi?
You need to get that washed mate!
I have to say, it looks great.. hyper-retro utilitarian. The look of the GK stuff puts me off as it comes over a bit plasticy.
The price is pretty good and is has a bag too, so what is not to like? Well, the sound maybe, get a move on Mark!

You knew this was going to happen, didn't you..?

Thffft!.. Stock image. What's next, sound-clips all in the left channel?
Oh, how you've fallen.
I was totally up for building an electrified 9 laminate neck through plank, but I gave it second thoughts and stuck to screwing a stick of maple to a slab of alder.
I honestly don't know why they don't just build the original / bicentennial / whatever 2 humbucker, 2 part bridge, chrome etc and leave it at that.
Gibson. Great basses, great heritage, no idea.

I just feel the headstock is a bit of a let down. Kind of doesn't go with what the body is doing. I'm not even sure what the best alternative would have been. I mean it doesn't ruin the whole look, I just think the headstock is a bit "meh".
I dunno, Entwhistle Fenderbird anyone?
It may all be down to cost. I wonder what it takes to re-jig the CNC machine to make a completely new design neck, as opposed to bunging on ones already done.
I think they make really cool basses but, and this is controversial, I think their headstocks look really 'budget bass' :-P

They obviously have to choose a version of the Fender style that's just enough not to get them sued. I think it looks pretty cool. Compare and contrast with the vestigial appendix that is on the end of the Dingwall DBird neck... Blooarrghh!

DISCLAIMER: I have no idea what constitutes a good overdriven tone. If these are terrible, it's probably my fault, rather than the amp's...!

I think it's somewhere between the first and second examples
