There is no rule preventing posting pics of Rics or Fakers. No rule preventing discussion of the same. The only rule is the one that prevents the sale of both on the site. That includes links to sales elsewhere. Quite simply if you fancy a Faker like this, give Highfox a PM.

Cost was about £40, plus I supplied new strings for him to put on. When he did my first Spector, it was like getting a new bass back. It was right at last!

I had my pack put on my new Spector 5'er when Martin at The Gallery set it up last week. In a nut shell.. [u]Pro's[/u] Nice feel with a medium tension and even balance across the strings [u]Cons[/u] The tone is OK, but lacks character. There is an absence of bite. I've got Flex Steels on my NS2 and they bring the bass alive in a way that the NYXL's don't.

Got the bass back from the Gallery on last Saturday morning. It's been given a very lovely set-up, Martin is a top bloke. I then went on to the LBGS and guess who I ran into..

If he gets the process right it does look good, but they are thick and solid. The properties of Spitfire guards bear no resemblance to tort at all. You're scuppered if the holes don't align and his customer service policy means you have zero options. All this plus they are probably the most expensive out there, which does not include the bonus when it arrives in the UK. I suppose if you found one second hand, managed to get it to fit and didn't mind it standing proud of adjacent control plates you might be onto something.

Wouldn't touch Spitfire with a barge-pole due to his appalling attitude toward customer service.

I would've walked away and dialed 999. As I said, it's assault plain and simple. I'd be happier a f***-nut like this is properly dealt with than any short term satisfaction of retaliation. Can I ask why you did not consider calling the Police?
