There might be a lot of high priced gear out there, but there are also companies like Greenboy/fEarful who will give you all the plans and instructions for free and all you have to do is buy the bits. Talkbass members seem to rate this stuff and it seems akin to Barefaced, so there are alternatives out there. http://greenboy.us/fEARful/#earfuls

I was spec'ing a build from Mark, but for my own reasons I did not go through with the purchase. All I can say about Mark and Limelight is that he is an absolutely superb man to deal with.

I had a 610HLF and it was the fasted cab I've moved on. I found it very un-musical. I bought without trying first and I'd not do that again.

I regularly used my SVT Pro II with a light weight Purple Chili 115 and it is grand. They can both be currently found in our marketplace.

The purpose of this thread is to raise awareness on Basschat that Bassdoc has orders outstanding with our members, and is no longer responding to contact from the people involved, or friends of his who have tried to help. If you're affected, or you've been able to make contact with him, by all means post your experience here. However, please stick to facts, and refrain from posting speculation etc. We will remove posts that, in our opinion, don't add to the discussion. Bassdoc has previously been a very well-respected and well-liked member of the Basschat community, and we all want this to be resolved as quickly as possible.

Without question, yes. This happened to me and it was a real shame as the rest of the band wernt bad and it was the first thing I'd done in ages. I tried working with him, even getting both of us getting to rehearsals early to work on stuff, but in the end I walked. We were going on stage and I had no confidence in what he was doing. I stopped enjoying myself and at that point I go.
