1.
I'm not going to fret about it.
I exspector you wont.
 2.
Well obviously there are a lot of similarities what with it being a bass forum and all... just on a much bigger scale.
Don't you know anything.. It's extra long scale.
 3.
No, it IS childish - better to just send them a turd in the post.
Christmas is coming
 4.
If you have a different opinion than the mods, they ban you from the site. Very childish. Blue
Really?.. Now there's an idea!
 5. Talkbass is like going to an Arena gig, where as BC is like seeing your mates band down the pub. Yeah, the sound is crap, plus some silly begger is talking all the way through and right in the middle of it they stop everything for the meat draw, but it's a lot more fun.
 6. Si, if you're in Slough you are welcome for a cup of tea and a fiddle
 7.
I know where you're coming from Billy Apple. I'm totally against an "everyone smile, everyone nod," songs-of-praise type atmosphere. That's gotta be evident from my posts on this forum over the last 9 years. I love your argument for non-patronising comments - but on the flip side could you argue that these comments below are anything other than patronising? None could be described as constructive. Each is just laughing at the bloke:
Fair enough, I'll define what I meant..
This guy needs to get over himself and learn some soul.
I just think he's showing off for the sake of it, and technique without heart or soul (which IMHO this has neither) is worthless. It's not about cramming in notes, but about the spaces in between. That and he's just mugging it for the camera, hence the get over himself bit. But I don't want to kill him or anything.
 8.
If you want a laugh, go on the RIC forum and mention Hipshot replacement bridges..... ......then run and hide.
Oh, yeah? Read this then .. http://www.rickresource.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=411209&start=15
 9. Cool. I'm in. I was just thinking about this the other day and reckon I've got a few songs in me. Total beginner here, no idea what so ever!
 10. I don't think it's sad at all to give comment on something openly posted. YT is open to comments so the chap must expect that people will say something. Me, I think it sounds like a biscuit tin full of cutlery being chucked down stairs, but others seem to like it so it's pretty well balanced. I'm glad we keep ahold of our critical faculties otherwise it's just patronising.
 11. You should've tried my basses at the bash. My JV has Bella's on and my Ric has TI's. I'm not sure about low tension Bella's tho, mine are just standard flats. Overall I prefer the B's,they feel a better quality than the T's. They are a higher tension, but not like Chromes. Saying that, the T's are a lighter gauge, so it's hard to compare accurately. It just comes down to feel, so in that respect you'll have to buy some and see.
 12.
When Stuart Spector couldn't get his trademark back from Kramer when they went under he had to call them NS4's as Kramer owned the NS2 name. Now he has all his trademarks back he can call the PJ loaded basses 'NS2's' and the twin humbucker loaded basses 'NS4's'.
He doesn't do two single coils a la Jazz?
 13. This guy needs to get over himself and learn some soul.
 14. What's the difference between NS2 and NS4? They both look the same to me and both seem to have two pups
 15. Is there some history between Spector and Warwick due to the similar shapes?
 16.
Is that an Ant and Dec joke? A bit before my time, I'm afraid.

A lovely pair you've got there
Something for everyone!
 17.
PJ seems very approachable, too.
Not his pal Duncan tho. A right miserable git
 18. It's the person not the bass, plus you hear the same instrument differently when you are playing or listening. I thought my Ric didn't sound like a Ric when I played it. Lozz played it at the bash and I thought 'f*** me, it's Bruce Foxton!'
