1. Poor chap, he's drawn a bit of a cock on those with his 'upgrade'. I'd steer clear and find an unmolested one.
 2.
I think he means 'strata' too, unless he's implying you're just one-layered.
Never you mind what I mean and don't mean. You get to sharpening your axe my boy!
 3.
Is anyone bringing any guitars for the jam room?
No. I'm bringing Mothers Pride
 4.
Every 'old' was once 'modern'.
Apart from you. You're not measured in years, your measured in geological stratum.
 5. Never thought I'd be putting this up, but imminent house move forces sale. Here is my beautiful hand made custom Matamp GT200. In immaculate condition, not a mark on it. Recently serviced and tested at Matamp in Huddersfield. All in good health and good to go. Tolex is black basket weave with white piping, plus I didn't have my name put on the front so you won't have to get a new one. I had 'hand made in Great Britain' with a little union jack put on the front instead.. All together more classier! The weight is around 25Kg (I think) Prefer not to courier. Will deliver up to a goodly distance from Slough, or meet halfway after that goodly distance. I'm firm on the price and no trades thank you. I've the matching cab, which I'd prefer to keep. If you wanted the cab too I'd not let it go for less than £400. Again the cab is immaculate and custom loaded with Celestion BL12 200x's
 6. I had my own signature bass years back. A Kay wot I'd scratched my name on with a compass point.
 7. As new condition. Used a couple of times and never left the house. Comes with box and instructions. I'd keep this as the sound and tone is fantastic, but I don't use it for any of my stuff and I'm trying to fund other things. £120 posted
 8.
No, it's The Thing's scrotum.
Fancy that! 'The Thing' shaves his knackers!
 9.

Is that a close up of your feet?
 10.
Yay! The BigRedX seal of approval!
Really? Only 4 out of 5!
 11. Can't believe this is still here. A British tone monster for a third of the price of the cheapest of any other.
 12.
I've never heard of a JV trading hands for over £1500. More like £650 - £800, and around £1k for the rarer early Fender logoed examples.
I got my '83 Squier JV for £600
 13. Did you photograph it as it was being packaged and was it insured? Without him sending you pictures I'd do nowt. If you do decide on a refund, he should pay the postage.
 14. I see he has a super scary Halloween mask. I wonder who made that, his Mum?
 15.
I know tension's probably the wrong word but i find he LaBellas to be stiffer than the Fenders. It'a also the material... both are steel, but the Fender's feel different... more pliable.
I have a set of medium scale La B's on by Coronado, and I find them quite flexible. I've used Roto and Chrome flats and think them too stiff. My Ric has TI's and they're pretty loose. Do Fender not do flats?
 16. What tension would you class the La Bellas, and what the Fenders?
 17.

Ohh, Give me head!
 18.
Speaking of owning Matamps, did someone on here have a GT100 in a bass spec? Seems to ring a bell but not sure who had it.
Happy Jack
 19. I wish you'd change the title of this thread. I get a right sinking feeling every-time I see it
 20.
I said I was never going to post on BC again but my Limelight P is ready and it should be logged IMHO so: CAR with maple, parchment scratchplate and Trubass strings. I collect it in week 2 November.
That's lovely. Is that a J width neck?
 21.
I was always impressed by their competitive pricing and speedy delivery. The only reason that I don't use them anymore is that they don't stock my preferred brand (Status) but I'd have no hesitation recommending them.
Is it only Status that stock Status? I couldn't see them at Stringbusters either.
 22.
Cool pic. Seems in the early days we spent a lot of time looking at the fretboard lol
Still are Mate.
